Hey everybody! We just can’t believe that we are almost at the end of the show’s original broadcast episodes. There is just one more next week! Wow, what a great experience it has been for us, and hopefully, for you too! You all have been so sweet to keep letting us know that you’ve enjoyed the ride! It has been a real treat for the whole family.
This week's show, we had a blast doing a makeover for our friend Lauren! Bob was not completely happy in the beginning that I took on another freebie, but once he got into it, he had a great experience. Because of the limited budget, we went to Pier One, where the prices are reasonable and the style is cool. Lauren spent the day there shopping with us. Her sister donated some great art for the apartment too. Then we went after the apartment’s clutter (the very best thing EVERYBODY can do for their own environments, and it doesn’t cost a thing except a bit of time) and transforming it. A good time was had by all, and now Lauren’s apartment is a much more stylish and user-friendly space.
You guys are wonderful! Your kids crack me up, especially the one jumping on the table. I wish I had your patience. Love your style, and I hope you guys are back for another season.
And that kid Major.. A D O R A B L E !!! (George is hot too!)
Cortney, I really like you and the show. I was a little leary of the show's concept, but you have kept me interested. If money is an issue, maybe Bob should stay home & care for the children in lieu of the nanny while you work. It seems that you do most of the designing/decorating. It would be nice to see him help you with the children instead of being on the computer. Just saying...
I saw your show for the first time. Loved the makeover at Lauren's apartment! Can you tell me where to find the "family" sign in your house- who makes it? I would love to have one made for colors in my house. Thanks.
Love your show and I'm sorry it'll be over next week. It's a breath of fresh air among the other shows where the fighting and competition are fierce (not that I don't love those shows too!). Love the scene with Hollie making the faces - boy does he look like his dad there!
Find your designs, your family, and your energy so inspiring. Loved Lauren's apartment's makeover (and loved that you did that for her even in the midst of your extraordinarily busy schedule).
God bless! Great show!
Cortney, love this show ... and I really appreciated last night's episode that shows you and Bob finding great stuff for your friend that doesn't cost a fortune. This show is just an endless source of fun and inspiration for me. I'm bummed this show is ending next week!!! PS, I could swear that your friend's place is in a building in DUMBO where one of my dear friends lives too ... I'm in Chicago, but love visiting him there - its a great building and the spaces are awesome. Alright, thanks so much for a fun season, you Novogratz's sure seem great. Hope you all have a wonderful summer!
I just discovered your show this week and I'm catching up on all of the previous episodes. It is such a fun show to watch. It's great to see how family-oriented you and your husband are, and I love watching your laid-back parenting style. You seem to have great relationships with your children and a lot of fun!
I will be sad to see the season end! You are all so inspiring. I was visiting in NY this week and had to go to Alleva in Little Italy one of my favorites, I look over and see Centre Market, so I took a walk and I was SO excited to see the homes you built! Gorgeous and a trip highlight. I would think you could hold all your tag sales on line now! I would have LOVED that Tourists sign, any chance its still available? You should add a "Shop now "link on the site. My 11 yr old son ( the oldest of 3 boys) is a big fan, the kind of kid who comes home and moves furniture, re arranges his room. He told me the show does rock...
Love your show, and love your family. My favorite part of all the shows, when you came back from london, and the kids all hugged eachother and said "i Love You" You are an amazing mother!
Hey Guys...LOVE the show...now for another book idea: raising kids!!!!! you've got to do one! I know BRAVO is bringing you back...too good not too!
Blessings to you and your fam!
I love this show. I wasn't sure if I was going to, but I do. You and your children are just gorgeous and I love watching y'all design. Hope to see you back again.
Hi Courtney,
Love the show and your beautiful family. I am floored by your designs, exactly my taste. Wish you were in California. I would love to send you a couple of pictures of my house and get your design opinion on some of my spaces to redo. Where do I go to blow-up my family photo's like you do. Also who is the artist you love that hand makes the queen. I would love here email and buy a piece for over my fireplace.
I love your show and love your work, decorate for me any day. I enjoy watching your family and it amazes me how well you handle a house-full and have time to work too!!
I hope you come back for a second season, I have truely enjoyed watching you show. It has inspired me on different ways to decorate. I think your family is just such a sweet and loving family and that is so good to see on tv. Its good to see a family that actually work hard to make a living you deserve the lifestyle you have!!!!
Courtney you are such a great mom! I love seeing both your head turning with design ideas and the way you interact with the kids. Please don't let tv change you, you are the best, most real family ever on reality TV. Kudos to your life!
Great job on your friend Lauren's apartment in the last episode. Who did the pink painting with the circles in her apartment - loved it! So girly and fun!
OK- I've never commented on a show before but I feel I have to!! I LOVE your show, without a doubt my favorite show on TV right now. I love your eclectic style-I feel inspired every time I watch an episode. See you do all of this great work while raising your family makes you so easy to relate to and so real....LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Cortney, Love your show! Would you ever consider helping out other single moms rearrange their apartments even if you had to travel to another state? I live in Florida but I don't think the kids would complain (think Disney World:). It's nice to see a drama-free show on Bravo. Your work is amazing!!
Courtney, I just love watching your show. You have such a loving family and you can tell you all enjoy each other. Most of all, your work inspires me to make changes in my own home! Thank you for that!
Love the show. I get new ideas every week. I love how your so relaxed with the kids. Nothing seems to bother you. Im trying to follow your lead.
The Novogratz family is like a breath of fresh air. I look forward to Tuesday to watch your show. Love your style, the way you raise your family and your sense of style is breathtaking....I hope to see you and your family for many, many seasons.

I enjoy watching your show! You both are so talented, it is great to watch you succeed in making a business and family all work. You both seem to have balanced your life. If I ever hit it big I would love you to decorate my home! Have a wonderful Summer!
I LOVE your show! Your family is the one we all wish we grew up in! -all your terrific designing is an added bonus! I love the kids names!
Courtney, I have to say that I love you. You are fantastic and really a great mom and wife. You truly are an inspiration and really your "go getter" attitude is what is so inspiring. I really enjoy the fact that you are resiliant and have what I call a "yes I can attitude". I especially love the fact that you do not have all the answers and you allow the audience to see your fears and anxiety. You are a great designer and woman. Love Love you.
I just became a first time mommy 4 months ago to a beautiful baby boy! You're such an amazing mother. You make it look so easy. I only wanted 2 kids and was VERY strict on my decision but after watching your show i'm considering have a few more. Also my absolute dream is to flip homes. My husband and I talk about it all of the time. That is one of my biggest goals on my "bucket list". Just watching your show has me reallllly considering seriously researching what it will take. All of my husbands aunts ask me for advice on designing their home because they love the way i've designed mine. Your show is so inspiring in many ways and I just love the fam. I hope for a second season!!!
dear courtney: i'm so sorry your season got caught up in the wake of the housewives - you and your family are awesome, creative, resourceful, and just a joy to watch... best of luck for season two - i'm totally there!!!
Love this family, love this show! So creative, inspiring and fun. I'm so sad to see it ending so quickly.
Of all the shows BRAVO does, this is the best. Real people, with real talents, admirable qualities, and admirable lives that don't get dragged down into pettiness and the worst of behavior because they're busy living their lives.
Courtney, you and your family are a real an inspiration. Thank you for sharing a little glimpse of that ....
Oh, and by the way- LOVE your energy and style. wish I had even half of either one!
We watch your show as a family. Thanks for giving us something fun to watch. You are a wonderful mother and inspire me! p.s. BRAVO please don't cancel this show!
Bravo must have you back next season. I'm so inspired by your ideas and have started the clean up and transformation. Thank you Courtney The kids make me laugh and Major is sooooo cute..hope to see you next year!
Love the show and love that you make having a large family seem so cool. I come from a family of nine and this is the first large family reality show I actually enjoyed watching (and didn't roll my eyes at).
You guys have great taste (your website needs work, though). :)
Can't wait for Season 2.
Stay real!
Just discovered your show (on demand) my 6 are camping and I can't wait to share it with them when they return. I love your zest for gettin' it done.
I found you on U-verse on demand, didn't know about your show until tonight. I have watched all 4 episodes!
I love you guys!! Your family is sooo cool and you guys are great parents and a great couple! I love how well you communicate and throw design ideas around together.
I can't believe how cool you are under pressure! How do you do it? I totally agree with the other viewer that you should write a parenting book!
You are the ultimate mom and your work is awesome! I totally get how you love to create and make things beautiful, even when you aren't getting paid!
Can't wait to see the "Season Finally". I am looking forward to many seasons with you guys!
P.S. You look sooo awesome for having 7 kids!! I can't believe you have had TWO sets of twins!! I am bowing to you!! :O
As a mom. I am curious as to how often you have your nanny watching the kids? And if the younger ones are on some sort of schedule? How they sleep at night? They don't really go into detail in the show. And you guys seem like you have a good amount of time without having to worry about the kids while working on your design. And you guys seem to have all of them sleeping at a certain time everynight. I was just curious if it really is that way or if there are just things that they don't show. Like kids fighting with you to go to bed. The baby up and awake all night. Love the show hope it comes back for another season.
Love your show-hate for it to end each week! You're the antithesis of the Gosselins.Hope you'll be renewed for next season.
After stumbling across your show a few weeks ago I immediately ordered Downtown Chic. I read it cover to cover in one sitting. You gave me many ideas for my house that didn't cost anything - it was a matter of rearranging and using things I'd put in the attic.
I normally avoid reality shows with children because of the exploitation but like the fact that your show focuses on the design aspect. And when you do show the children it is always in a flattering light. You don't embarrass them. You boost your kids up and unlike Kate Gosselin, you appear to truly like and love your children. I hope, if Bravo decides they need to inject conflict into your marriage and family life, you resist and protect the children.
Courtney Love the show, love the kids love the designs and even your husband....what I want to know is where do you get your clothes, and the cowboy boots,( are they golden goose boots)your style is so easy and fun....
Love your show and your family!!! You guys remind me of my family but we only have 4 kids. Keep rockin and I really hope there are more seasons to come!!!
I love this show. Your design sense is so fun, and has inspired me to redecorate my home. And bob, love your quirky personal style as well--especially all the hats!! And I love your family and how well adjusted your kids are. They are the total antithesis of almost all of the "Housewives" kids who are so spoiled and entitled. I was really struck by the fact that Wolfie allowed you to spray paint his basketball trophies to use for the basketball charity party. Most kids in Manhattan would have a medltdown and throw a fit if their parents even suggested painting them. You guys should be proud to have raised such decent kids. Please, Bravo, renew this almost unheard-of "feel good" reality show.
I really do enjoy your show, but please try and get your facts staight. In the remodeling job on the Hotel that you placed the different flags in each room, the flag that represented Cuba was a disgrace. The symbol of the "Che" is an insult to all Cubans, he was a murderer a cold blooded killer. Please read up before doing something so insulting, it's like putting up the face of Hitler. Thank You.
Your show is so uplifting. I have the feeling that you are exactly who you are portrayed to be on television. Your enthusiasm for enjoying life is contagious.
I love the way you interact with your children ...and the way you move and arrange things that somehow end up dancing together when before they may have sat on the sidelines when the music began.
Thank you for helping all of us learn to dance.
hugs from guntersville alabama
Please stop talking over people. You talk over Robert. You talk over clients. You talk over other professionals. When do you listen?
I Love Love Love your show! I just found it tonight on comcast on demand. I can't believe tonight was the season finale. I really hope your show is on for years and years! You guys are fantastic, down to earth and just proof that parents with lots of kids can still be hip and cool. Not everyone with lots of kid have to look awful and dowdy like the Gosselins (I hate to even compare them to you b.c you are so out of their league). You guys are a perfect match (balanced) and i love how you raise your kids with good values, lots of love and common sense!
I absolutely love your show! I am so sad for it to be over. You and your family are amazing. You and Bob are great parents, it is so nice to see a somewhat wholesome reality tv show where the kids can be kids! I am a single mom and a business owner - my 2 year old daughter has been raised in my office - it is such a blessing to be able to balance both a career and parenthood! Keep up the great work - can't wait for next season!
Cheers -
Danielle
