A Boston native, Kerry Burke is a passionate city reporter and revered as the "go-to-guy" when big stories break. Burke received his graduate degree from Columbia's School of Journalism, and earned his bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Bowdoin College in Maine.
Gregory Gittrich
The New York Daily News Deputy Metropolitan Editor
Greg Gittrich oversees The New York Daily News' police, fire and education coverage, and manages the metro desk's Sunday enterprise stories. He was The New York Daily News' lead reporter at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, sleeping at Ground Zero in abandoned buildings and vehicles for the first three nights after the terror attacks to relay vivid and detailed information back to the main newsroom. He covered the vast recovery operation at the disaster site for the following year and the rebuilding process until 2003.
Joanna Molloy

Joanna Molloy grew up in the Bronx, New York. The Molloys have lived in New York for five generations, and the family business was a funeral parlor on West 23rd Street in Manhattan. Molloy pursued her own way of burying people - in print. Friends who knew her at Berkeley would never have pegged her for a glam gossip countess. After all, she'd been active in left-wing politics and social programs. Molloy also played bass in a girl rockabilly band called The Stir-Ups.
George Rush

George Rush grew up in Highland Park, Illinois, and later attended Brown University, where he majored in Semiotics. Rush continued his education at Columbia's School of Journalism where he received his graduate degree. He wrote articles for national publications including Esquire, Rolling Stone, and Vanity Fair, and also wrote a book about the U.S. Secret Service, focusing on the story of one renegade agent. Rush eventually moved to Los Angeles for a year to write a script for Warner Brothers based on the story.

Dean Chang, Metro Editor, joined The New York Daily News in 1990 at the age of 24. After seven years as a reporter, Chang was sweet-talked into becoming an editor by Pete Hamill, then the editor of The New York Daily News. Three months later, Pete was gone, and Chang was stuck on the desk.

At The New York Daily News, Connor is often called upon to anchor the big breaking story of the day or to cover pop culture and celebrity news. Major stories have included the Kobe Bryant rape trial, the Martha Stewart insider trading case, the New York City blackout, the Michael Jackson sex scandal, and the Peter Braunstein rape manhunt.

Currently, Cooke is back in the windy city and where he is vice president of editorial operations for the Chicago group of papers at The Chicago Sun-Times parent company, Hollinger Inc.

Jonathan Lemire is a young but very aggressive and talented city reporter who often lands the front-page story. After growing up in Massachusetts, Lemire graduated from Columbia University in 2001 and landed an internship at The New York Daily News, which, a few months later, turned into a staff writer position. Lemire is widely regarded as a versatile writer and runner, as well as a completely hopeless Boston Red Sox fan.

As a junior gossip columnist who reports to Lloyd Grove, it's his job to go where the celebrities go - and get them to talk to him, even when they don't want to. Morgan is currently an associate editor for Men's Vogue.
Tony Sclafani

Tony Sclafani spends his days running between the "Shack" at 1 Police Plaza, where the police reporters are based, to the courthouse and throughout the streets of New York tracking down leads and piecing together the city's most shocking crime stories. Sclafani recently married his nurse girlfriend and took his longest vacation ever for his honeymoon. Tony Sclafani is no longer with The New York Daily News, he is now working for the New York Fire Department.
