Bravotv.com: What products do you have your clients carry in their bags for red-carpet events?

Rachel Zoe: A travel size of hairspray. I think that you should always have a little spot concealer. And you should always have your lip gloss and black eyeliner.

You are credited for bringing back the 1970s glamazon: vintage-clad and sun-kissed, with smoky eyes, oversized shades, and tons of bangles. What is your next look going to be?

A lot of '80s, unfortunately, and a lot of '60s, which I'm a huge advocate of -- the whole mod '60s trend, I'm sorta obsessed with [it].

If you could have access to anyone's closet, whose would it be and why?

Kate Moss', because she is the perfect mix of vintage and designer, and [represents] different trends across the board.

If you could restyle any film ever made, what would it be?

The Devil Wears Prada. That is a fashion fantasy, for sure. That is the best kind of fashion catalog.

Other than your clients, which Hollywood celebs get it right every time they're on the red carpet?

Kate Bosworth always looks great, looks like she didn't try.

Who are your three favorite designers?

Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and John Galliano.

If you could outfit anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

Brigitte Bardot, Johnny Depp, and Audrey Hepburn.

No need to name names, but give us a little dish: Can you tell us about any styling mishaps you've had with celeb clients?

I had two clients in one award season, and when they got into the car their dresses ripped, and zippers broke. That was the worst thing ever. And when I first started I was working in the music business, and [the client] got up on stage in white leather pants that were custom-made...and they split in half.

Are there any phrases that you use over and over? "Zoeisms," if you will.
