Jared Matthew Weiss is a natural with people from all walks of life -- a tell-it-like-it-is, but ever "proper" life coach who stumbled into his profession through natural born talent and genuine interest in what makes people tick. He's worked with more than 300 clients since he took on his first one in 2002, building his business one client at a time all through word of mouth. He coined the term MadProper as a moniker for his business, summing up his lifestyle and philosophy -- mad meaning "immensely" and proper meaning "appropriate." At the heart of his philosophy is an emphasis on self-love and self-preservation.
Jared's MadProper program started as a social science project of sorts. Following two and half years as a "college drop-in," majoring in English Literature, he dropped out to forge his own way in the world. It wasn't long before fate intervened. In the fall of 2002, Jared got a phone call from a doctor in Miami -- a distant friend of a friend -- who spent most of his time in surgical scrubs and was in desperate need of a weekend wardrobe. Jared, who's always had an eye for style, took the doc shopping on Lincoln Road. This guy was young, attractive, eligible, intelligent -- and alone! On the second day, Jared couldn't help but ask the question that would end up changing his life forever: "Why are you single?"
The answer was, as it is with countless single men and women that he just hadn't met "the right person." From that moment on, Jared has been swept up in the process of helping men and women find themselves, so that they can then find "the right person" for them. And so was born the MadProper program, a complete system of self-discovery and communication skills that has since empowered hundreds of men and women to take control of their lives and "make themselves happy".
