One of America's leading interior and home furnishings designers, Michael Berman creates a look of timeless style, comfort and understated elegance. Since 1986, Berman has established a national reputation for interior design services as well as a comprehensive line of modern, and purely American ready-to-use furniture infused with classicism and film noir richness. It bespeaks of restraint, perfect simplicity and craftsmanship. Berman's popularity as a designer is evident from his client list, which includes many CEO's and presidents of Fortune 500 Companies such as Microsoft, Paramount Pictures, CBS Television, as well as entertainers and behind the scenes industry professionals.

His style, which he refers to as American Trans-Modern, emphasizes historic and traditional details in a modern aesthetic, is constantly evolving. Born and raised in Detroit, Berman's design influences come from his experiences living in New York, designers such as Billy Baldwin, and Donald Desky, art of the 30's and 40's, his tenure working for mentor Angelo Donghia as well as his education at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit and Otis Parsons School of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
