Here’s Why This New Island Vacation Spot Has Banned All Men From Visiting

No man is an island — and "SuperShe" island prohibits them from even setting foot on it.

How does the saying go... girls rule and boys drool? If you find your brain meandering toward that kind of thinking, you're probably going to want to consider this trip idea.

A new — and very luxe — island off the coast of Finland has prohibited men from even setting foot on the zen locale. The island vacation spot called SuperShe is also booze-free and intended to be filled with positive vibes only, so it's pretty much a dream destination for solo and squad travelers alike who feel like they need a safe space.

In an interview with with the New York Post, SuperShe founder Kristina Roth claims she created the island after "several" restorative vacations in Kardashian-famous Calabasas, California where the guys killed the vibes. She said, "When there was a cute guy, women would put on lipstick. The idea [at SuperShe island] is, hey, focus on yourself — don’t try to get your hormones up."

Why Finland?

Roth fell in love with a local, who told her the luscious island was for sale. (He knew because his parents own the one next to it.) And once she purchased the land, SuperShe was born.

The girls-only spot will open to the public in June, but anyone interested in visiting has to apply online for a Soho House-like "exclusive membership" and "undergo an application process and interview with the founder which can be done with Skype," a rep told Cosmopolitan.

As far as price is concerned, weeklong stays start at $3,500 (so no, it's not exactly an impulse-buy trip). Roth is open to maybe allowing men in the future, but for right now? Ladies, get to booking pronto.
