Kate Chastain heard a little chirping going on from inside her home in Melbourne, Florida and she immediately thought it was the smoke detector, but a little investigating proved otherwise. The Below Deck chief stew went on her Instagram Stories to share her findings.
"When you think your smoke detector batteries died, but realize a big a** cricket is stuck in your curtains," she wrote as a caption on a video where you can hear the cricket chirp.
Apparently Kate must have had a lot of inquiries into who makes her cool couch, which looks super comfy and casual, so she also posted an update to let everyone know that the cricket made it outside — and that her couch is by West Elm.
