Bravotv.com: Things come to a head with Adrienne and the girls. Could you feel the tension between them?
DB: We didn't really see the drama unfolding between the girls as we were busy working (and getting engaged), but we certainly did hear about it! I think out of the three girls, I bonded most with Kat. I know she felt incredibly trapped in between both Sam and Adrienne. While she didn't always agree with Adrienne, she still acknowledged that Adrienne was still her superior. Kat hated being put in the middle between he other girls. It put extra stress on here daily, and, unfortunately, it lead to her cutting loose just a little more than necessary.
Bravotv.com: How was rooming with Eddie? You two seemed to be the closest to each other on the boat, but we've seen a ton of photos of you and Sam hanging out!
DB: I loved rooming with Eddie! I couldn't have asked for a better roomie. He was clean, hygienic, didn't snore, and he even let me dress him up! We became close very quickly. We were working together daily and we were in close quarters at night. We really opened up a lot to each other and bonded durning the charter season. He taught me almost everything I know about sailing, and I really think of him as a great friend now.
Bravotv.com: You don't have a ton of experience on boats. What did you think of the experience overall? Are you still working on yachts?
DB: I learned so very much from my time on the yacht, skills I've carried on with and hope to improve upon. I've always been in love with he sea, but living and working on it was a life-changing experience. There were good times and bad, but most importantly, there were memories forged that will stay with me forever -- and for that I am grateful. I am currently a student at the New York Film Academy, but I do head out to help Aleks with his charter company, Elite Yacht Management, when needed, to keep things fresh.
Congratulation to you and Trevor. Thank you also for your sanity and adorableness on the show. You, Eddie, Ben and Nash were the best.
Dave so happy for you and Trevor. I hope you return for the next season. You represented yourself as a gentleman and made us gays look good. Overall you seem like a good guy and Trevor is a lucky man.
Congratulations Dave n Trevor much happiness and long life to the both of you. Ronnie and I have been together for 16yrs now (Florida will be one of the last places for gay marriages, can't figure that with Disney being the gayest place on earth.) gotta tell ya, it feels like a dream, I wish the same for you. Dave, I saw a pic of you in your Marine dress uniform I like you in your buzz cut much better. I'm waiting for you to bust out and get crazy, the girls can't have all the fun. Anyway I enjoy the show and hope to see you and everybody for season 2.
I think you are a very brave young man, and to wait to get married, unitil Proposition 8 was passed, shows how very mature person you are. I totally agree that everyone should have the right to be married. I am just so GLAD that the government see's it that way also. I wish you and Trevor all the best!! Have a long and happy and healthy life together! God Bless You Both!!!!
There. You're welcome!
Oh, almost forgot. I never thought I would see a reality show where, of all the participants, the gay guy is the least drama on the show. Way to break through those stereotypes man!
Help!! I accidentally deleted this episode from my DVR before I had the chance to finish watching it. I know cannot find it anywhere either in repeats or on bravotv.com. Any idea why?
Congratulations! How exciting to have your proposal on national TV. Wishing you all the best.
Question to the Bravo world...on the Dude, Dude episode, one of the guests was very familiar looking. I can't place his face, but I'm thinking he might have been one of Patty's millionaires? Anyone know? It's honestly not that important. I do have a job and a life, but I hate it when I can't place a face. Thanks!!!
And I LOVE this show. I watch everything Bravo has put on TV (except LA Shrinks...yawn). Keep up the awesome programming!!!
Below Deck is my current obsession on Bravo (as well as deckhand Dave). I really admire how professional, articulate and fun you are. As well as being eye candy for guys and gals;) The other night on WWHL, Andy mentioned that he would be officiating a wedding and I think as personal as having a wedding is, it would be beautiful if Trevor and you would be married (Boston Harbour Style) by him. I'm so happy Prop 8 was overturned and I wish you and Trevor a lifetime of happiness! Looking forward to more episodes! Bevy
What makes him "mature" for waiting for prop,8? He lives in CA so he had to wait! Since when is the government behind gay marraige? That'll happen when the Feds finally give all states equal marraige rights.
@heathih Did you try looking it up on Comcast on Demand? If you can't get it that way, a lot of saturday's they run run Below the Deck reruns.
I'm pretty sure it was the hypnotist that was on the Matchmaker. (It pains me to remember that, and even comment on anything relating to Millionaire Matchmaker, ugh.)
Yes I recognized him two, and I think your right he's from Patty's show I remember him... I love this show it's really cool
@MommaSharon yes, there were two guys on there that I know for SURE were on Matchmaker.....and I know I have seen the hypnotist (sp?) on some Bravo show somewhere..
