Julie Plake

Julie discusses Thanksgiving traditions, the SkinnyGirl plant, and what happened to the other salad.

I can't believe the season is a little more than halfway done. You have all been so supportive of my job and my biggest cheerleaders. So many of you have reached out and said the nicest things. Being a part of Bethenny's world isn't always easy, but with all of you supporting me it's a lot easier!

Ice skating. . .I just have no words. She was seriously skating at six in the morning for four hours. Then I would get to the office when she was getting home and tell her the schedule for the day. I felt so bad, but life had to go on. I am so proud of her for doing so well. She earned it!

As you can tell by Jason and my reactions, we were so shocked Bethenny wanted to have a Thanksgiving dinner with guests. I think she got excited about this being the first holiday as a family and Bethenny does love to entertain -- she just doesn't have a lot of time to do it. Jason and I grew up very similarly, so when Bethenny asks how things are done Jason and I often have the same answers. It drives her nuts but she loves giving us a hard time about it. It's all in good fun.

As far as moving the table -- this is exactly the way that things go down with the three of us. Everything is a production.

Things were super busy around the office, but I am glad that Bethenny decided to go away with Jason and see the SkinnyGirl Margarita bottling plant. When she got home she was so excited to tell me all about it and so excited for me to see it on the episode.

Seeing all of the bottles and the vats of her SkinnyGirl recipe had to be so overwhelming for Bethenny. It was just an idea two years ago and now look at it. . .

Oh and I did order them more than one salad for the plane! I think the pilot must have eaten it before they got there!

I love this show. I very rarely laugh outloud, but watching last nights episode was really funny. It's great to see nice people who are so accepting of others and find value in everyone. Laugher is needed these days and I am really happy that Bethany got away from the NY Housewives scene, they are all self centered people and the mean gossip is ridiculous. Keep up all your hard work and you all are great people whom I would love to be friends with.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the show. You are awesome and they are so lucky to have you!! I want to have a season finale show with all my girlfriends and of course skinnygirl margarita's. Do you have a date? PS: On last nights show, loved all the attention they got walking on Rodeo Drive!

Julie, you make working for a high powered attorney in little Poconos, PA look like a walk in the park. I can relate to your many 'hats' and juggling things around. A lawyer's paralegal is much like an assistant. You become more than just an employee. You become the product in essence. You're doing a fantastic job and I admire you! Continue the hard work. Bethenny is so blessed to have a person like you to keep you on the ground. P.S. How does one become a personal assistant anyway?

Please, someone, tell Jason to quit calling Bethany "Mommy" so- much. Please, please, please. Once and a while is fine, but OMG. Maybe it's the editing. Your so great for this couple, they are lucky to have you.

Julie, you are the best! It is great how you level Bethany out.......You are a beautiful, intelligent, hard working girl, and it shows that Bethany truly values your work ethic and loves you as a friend. How wonderful for her to ask you to be Bryn's godmother. So appropriate! I am glad that Bethany can finally have the love and support and loyalty from you and Jason, that she so missed out in her early life, and so obviously deserves. You are doing great!

I have followed Bethenny's career since she has stepped onto the set of The Real Housewives. I have also watched you grow into this wonderful, intelligent and loyal person. I grew up in a bad situation, and because of that I dont trust easily or let people get to close to me. I see that in Bethenny and I can see how she is about you and that makes me see what a wonderful person you are. I would love to have someone in my life just like you. Take care.

Julie, you are terrific on the show and so important to Bethenny's life, so glad she fired the young guy, it was long over due, he was such a waste. Also think that Gina takes advantage, which may add to the show's drama, but not dependable for a baby nurse. Jason is the best, so glad they found each other.

You are a rockstar! I can't believe she did the ice skating either. Who does that? That's more to bite off than DWTS! Keep up the good work!

Julie, you're the BEST-- loved seeing your makeover on the Rachael Ray show! You keep things running and are a great counterbalance to the frequent insanity! ;) I am so so glad *you* are Bryn's godmother! Just perfect. Your sense of humor will help you through those rough spots. We enjoy seeing you every week!

Julie, you are amazing. You am sure you have one of the harderst, most rewarding and fun jobs out there. You are a breath of fresh air on the show and I love getting to see you on the show. You organize the chaos very well, and I am sure it is not easy!

Great season opener, and love the interesting freshness of what Bethenny is doing. Can't wait to see the rest of the season! On a more serious note, am pulling for Jason and Bethenny and the hope each special day and/or holiday, doesn't include a Bethenny breakdown. Which would be bad TV. I mean, seriously. Who needs family meltdowns around the hoidays? For that we could just stay home and look around the table at our *own* relatives. :D

I love this show, everyone in it, and the total team effort. Also, having worked for workaholics before becoming one, I did not live my own life. It was a couple of years before realizing I had devoted my life to be in service to someone else, rather than to what I really wanted to do. Maybe eventually, you could evolve like Gayle King, hire an assistant for yourself, and branch out to running various production companies as brand-Bethenny continues to morph in a variety of directions....great for all!
