Last week in my webisode Michael and I had our eighth year Anniversary Brunch. It was fun reminiscing how Michael and I met exactly eight years to the day. We should probably should give a former friend credit for the introduction as he invited me to Michael's annual brunch; however, we actually give the credit to Schylar our oldest cocker spaniel.
I still remember meeting Michael that day; it was sunny, cold, and I was in the mind frame that I didn't want to date, I just wanted to meet new people. Actually for as outgoing as I am (or seem) I have a hard time meeting new people, striking up conversation. I get quite shy and am never the one to make the first move. I remember sitting observing the conversations around me and taking everything in. And from moment to moment I would occasionally catch the glance of Michael's piercing blue eyes staring at me. It was later during the brunch that Schylar Michael's cocker spaniel (who is totally shy and hides under the bed) came out, made his way through the crowd and sat in front of me. He pawed my leg, and when I reached out he rolled over and let me scratch his belly. For Michael, Schylar and I that was it. . .Michael and I went out on a date. Now eight years later Michael, Schylar, Trevor, and I are one big happy family.
I don't understand why you blog, but aren't on the show? Come on, get on the show. I've always enjoyed your scenes!
He comments because he has a webisode just like Simon van Kempen. That's what he is talking about. Go to show, BEA, videos and click on Shawn webisodes. I enjoy the little peek into his life. Thanks Shawn!
Shawn, You are a sweetheart and I love your blogs and seeing your video's about your life with Michael. You manage such a successful business and anyone that can put a wedding together like you did for Bethenny is an amazing person!! Good fortune to you and your family!
Shawn - I can tell that you really are a fantastic person not just in business. Taking care of Bethany's wedding while she was being so hormnal you were really fantastic with her. I admire you for keeping it together as the leader and never losing your cool with the people that work for you unless they just didn't show it. My husband and I can bicker a bit like you and Michael. I really think most realationships are like that I'm going to check out you webisodes, I never knew you had them. Why hasn't Andy Cohen had you on his show What's Happening? I love it I look forward to seeing you on more Bethany shows.
ps - Did everyone kow that Bethany was so upset at her birthday party?
Happy Anniversary to you and Michael...and your doggie! That is such a fun way to meet! I have so enjoyed watching you on this show and think you must be the nicest , most easy going guy in the world to be able to handle all of these people and their parties .....and personalities! You come across so kind and caring and it makes such a fun opposite to Bethenny's hyper type "A" personality! Wish you all the very best in your business and life and hope to see much more of you.....maybe for some of Bryn's birthdays! God Bless!
MUCH LOVE Shawn and congratulations on your own success. Love the web shows and looking forward to your move to the small screen (from my keyboard to God's ears). B knows good people when she meets them!
Shawn, can I please take a moment to tell you how much I love you? I just told my bestie that you're the 'best reality TV character in history' but really you're so much more than that. I love looking at the blog on your events website, as you clearly have a passion for what you do and you do it extremely well. (I'm also an events coordinator and designed/produced my own DIY wedding so believe me, the magnitude of what you do is not lost on me!) In terms of the show, I do wish there were more opportunity for you to be in scenes but alas, there are only so many parties for you to plan in Bethenny-land. The "peeing in a bucket" scene from Season 1 is seriously my favorite reality show clip of all time, and I'll cherish it always. :D Loved seeing you interact with Bryn this season as well - it really is super sweet. Happy anniversary to you and your partner!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU AND MICHAEL! AND, ALL OVER SHOWING LOVE TO A DOG-TOO SWEET! I HOPE BETHENNY STAYS IN NY...IT WOULDN'T BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU! BUT, LIKE YOU SAID, "NOTHING'S PERFECT...BALANCE IT AND BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE." WELL SAID! BEST WISHES!
Shawn, You are really growing and I hope to see you more often on the show! I love how you and Bryn really seem to "connect"-she is adorable. Julie is awesome, but you do a good job of flying by the seat of your pants and looking like you planned the whole thing! Congratulations on your anniversary-you know the spark is still there if you are both excited to know the other one is coming home! Best wishes, Dee in New Hampshuh
love you, Shawn!! you are so cute and so sweet. i love watching you and Bethenny interact. you're both too much! xoox
