- Bethenny Ever After: Season 2
I was healthy before, during and after pregnancy. I really did live my "naturally thin" lifestyle that I speak of in my book and I made recipes from my second book. As far as exercise, I try to do my "Body by Bethenny" DVD twice a week. I'm lucky if I get 15 minutes of it done. I'm quite overloaded. Always do what you can when you can, don't obsess, don't be extreme and it will all fall back into place. Bingeing and starving are the problems.
I wrote Place of Yes when I hadn't yet completed the most major milestones of my life. The point is that by coming from a place of yes, I got to where I needed and wanted to be. It would be inauthentic to not write from that perspective and after those experiences. Now I am back in the thick of it and it is going very well.
I love watching you find your happiness. I laugh and I cry. You were so lucky to find a man like Jason to love you. Bryn is adorable. Jason's parents are the sweetest people in the world. May you and your family be blessed with good health and continued happiness.
I do agree with other posters about the designer. You should have left. Max was with you and should have been protected by you. I know you told the designer to stop but you should have left.
I am a single mom with 4 kids. Life can be chaotic but I always say that the joyous moments are in the middle of the chaos. You just have to look for them. Take care and thanks for letting us peak into your life. I'm happy for you.
Luv Luv Luv the show, Bethanny, Jason, and sweet baby Bryn. Bethanny you are truly a friend in my head!
Love, Love, Love the show. You guys are just regular people. Bethenny you crack me up. Isn't it crazy how the birth of your child is the most profound thing to happen to you?? It keeps evolving too. Love that baby!! Take it all in. The first year goes by soooo fast. Well, they all do ;-) Take care.
I just love your little family to pieces! Congratulations on all of the wonderful blessings in your life...you have worked so hard to get to the place where you are...total bliss as a family. THank you so much for sharing your most important moments with all of us, it makes us all think about the wonderful things in our lives as well..thank you!
You are the real deal. Love you, love your show. How refreshing after reading the bs blogs of the Jersey housewives. So happy you found such a great guy and now have a beautiful baby. Best of luck.
Hi Bethenny, Watching you wake up every two hours to breast feed reminds me of myself with my two children. Bryn will be so healthy and strong because of your dedication. You will see the benefits as she grows. Take care of yourself too. All the best, Andrea
Bethenny, although I'm all teary-eyed as I write this blog, I have to do this now or I'll chicken out. The woman who makes me laugh also makes me cry so hard and reflect so much. I'm so happy for you; it's amazing how you have transformed the postpartum depression phenomenon into pure joy! Thank you for sharing your life (the good, bad, and ugly) - you have helped so many simply by being Bethenny!
Bethenny, you are really hard on Max. Hard on him for someone who hired him knowing he was fresh out of a private college, hungry for a paycheck (even if it meant interviewing to be an assistant of someone he's never heard of in his life), sheltered, naive and somewhat immature. I can be hard on Max, because I didn't hire him. You've obviously fired him already, or he's moved on, but it's gross how you criticize someone who so obviously wasn't meant to be apart of the SkinnyGirl team. If Max's main task was to be picking your underwear, you should have hired a girl or a gay man. His faults are yours.
Why doesn't Bethenny put off writing another book for a couple of years? Because ANYONE who has watched Bethenny on Bravo for the past few years knows that she is incredibly smart and savvy, and knows when to STRIKE WHILE THE IRON IS HOT! Bethenny is a hot commodity right now, and by continuing to expand her brand, she is also securing her family (and maybe cute little Bryn's) future! Who knows? In a couple of years, she might not be in the public eye so much; we know how fickle celebrity-status can be. Go Bethenny! Much love and success to you and yours!
Bethenny, Like Jason, I lost my older brother to a car accident (a week before his 19th birthday). Like Jason and you, I named my son after my late brother. It is something I've always wanted to do. I really do relate to Jason on that one. 3 of my 4 boys watched the episode last night. They loved the scenes with Cookie. My husband would say that they lost some "serious man points" last night, but they don't care. Love you, in the bonds, 4 boy mom.
I just want to write how refreshing your show is. The love you and Jason share and the gift of Brynn is truly beautiful. I do want to say that I was upset with the baby nurse saying alcohol is ok while breastfeeding, it is not. Alcohol passes through your milk on to the baby. If you drink you need to "pump and dump". As an RN I am not in agreement with her advice. Is she a real nurse? I had to laugh when Jason said he is surprised at how nurturing you are with the baby. That was too funny and sweet.
You two are the modern Lucy & Ricky. Love-Love-Love your show. I am so proud of your new family and how you are handling everything. Please don't go back to the Housewives. TOXIC
Bethenny- I watch your show and I am so in awe of your life and family. You can't beleive this all happened to you and so fast. I can relate with you, as I startedro see my dream come true, at age 35 the same way. Met my guy, who swept me off my feet, and shortly we moved in together, got engaged and married. I was pregenant 5 months later. I had my girl, who now is 16. Jason is adorable and so sensitive. You got a good one Bethenny. You got the diamond on the finger, but he is your diamond. You two are so much in love and it is so sweet. So sorry I can't continue to watch your life. It's a pleasure. Little Bryn is a peanut and so adorable. Mazel Tov! I wish you much success. and Continue with the wise cracks, you crack me up. Can't wait to see you on Bravo or where the media sends you.
Watching the Bryn there, done that episode made me smile the whole time. Being a new mom myself and looking at how we are going through similar situation made me feel like I'm not the only person in the world who is not sleeping, pumping and loving every minute of it. Jaya and Bryn even have the same sleeper. I haven't had my first date yet but I am looking forward to it. Bethanny you baby is so precious. Congrates on all your success.
Bethenny, I know you love Cookie with all your heart and soul ( I have 4 dogs so I understand) and she is adorable but she is going to bite someone, if she hasn't already. You were telling Shawn how to act around Cookie. No no. It needs to be totally the other way around. Cookie needs to see you ( and Jason and even Bryn) as the leader, not her. If you are good with Shawn then she needs to be. Please be careful when Bryn gets older and crawling and goes for one of her toys or her food dish.
Your show is the highlight of my week when it comes to T.V.! I find you absolutely delightful and Jason is beyond precious! I would adopt you in a heartbeat! You would make the best daughter (or daughter-in-law)in the world! Best wishes to you, Jason and Bryn. You have an amazing staff and a delightful group of friends. I wish you the best life has to offer and I'm going to buy your books. I've struggled with my weight my entire adult life.
We love, love, love you. You make us smile and we feel part of your joy. Thank you for sharing part of your life with us.
Now, please, stop. Please stop filming. That's how much we love you. We don't want this show to chip away at your lives as many in reality shows have experienced.
Hugs to you and your little Bryn and lovely Jason. We'll be thinking of you all with a smile on our faces.
Bethenny, First, let me say, Congratulations on a perfect, sweet little baby girl. I'm sure she's grown so much since her birth. Best wishes for you, Jason & Bryn for happiness, health, & love always.
Second, let me say, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your new show. It makes me laugh, & I get tears in my eyes from the emotional side too. Of course, I started watching you on HWNY, but these last couple seasons, I was disappointed in all the pointless drama that went on...this new show has none of that, just fun humor & love...Might I add that your famous line is a chuckle for me..."Holy S*#T Balls"...never heard it put quite like it before, I just laugh every time you say it...I pray you return for another season of Bethenny, as for HWNY, don't waste your already busy life, they're not worth it. You made that show, so why not stay where you're the centerpiece? Lots of Love...
Bethany, I just wanted to say that I love your show and you. I am pregnant with my first at 38, due Aug 28, and let me tell you, you have been my rock. I haved watched every week and loved every minute of it. you make me cry, laugh, and just can't wait to be a mom. Like you I am very fit and really not into the pregnant thing, so lets just move it along and have him come!!! LOL
Also, I have a terrible mother, do not speak to her, and do not want that person in my babies life. My father died when I was 19, and really too feel like I was raised by wolves!! so crazy.
Anyway, you are the best and can't wait to have my skinnny girl drink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yummmmmmmm
Thank you for being you!!!
Bethenny I love , love , love your show !!! I cried and cried last night you are an amazing couple and parents loooove you so much !!!!
Bethanny, I was laughing and weeping during the four toes foot printing scene. The show is delightful and wonderful to watch. I'm retired with two great kids (23 & 26)and the time does go so quickly. Watching your show has brought back so many memories. Follow whatever path you and Jason think is right for your family. Good luck and much happiness.
Thank you for showing everyone how inspirational you and your family are and how one really has the power to transform everything-with love and a belief in one's self from within. Enjoy the ride! Congratulations.
PS: You were hysterical on Watch What Happens Live the other night, along with the equally hysterical Rachael. I wish we could go out and party together.
PPS: Bravo you have a "winner" of a show here. Its the best!
Such a precious little family. Love how Cookie immediately took to Bryn, protecting her from everyone outside of the family. I have said it before, this is definitely the best reality show on Bravo. Everyone is real so there's real laughter, tears, caring, and mistakes. Thanks for sharing with us.
I guess you can have it all......if you have a baby nurse, 2 assistants, a party planner and a stylist! No "real housewife" will get anything out of your "tips" when you are surrounded with help and you are still overwhelmed......i pray that your 15 minutes are up.
Bethenny, I love your show. Lastnight's episode was my favorite. You can really see the love between you and Jason, and the love for Bryn. You all cracked me up when you couldn't figure out how to get the baby out of the car.
Thanks for sharing your life with us, I really enjoy it!
Bethenny - I can't believe I'm commenting on a TV show blog. Never have before, but I couldn't help myself. I love you guys. Your humorous quips on life are genius! You make me laugh, make me cry, and make me see that what I'm doing (being married and raising kids) is the most important job, ever. I see you savoring every precious moment with your family and it makes me want to do the same. Thanks for being brave enough to share your real live with us. I will keep watching!
Congrats and blessings to you all!
Bethenny, I have to say that I smiled the whole time I watched last night's episode. To see the love that Jason has for you and that you both have for Bryn is beautiful!! Cookie is just adorable, I look forward to seeing her every week. Jason's parents, Max & Julie are fabulous too!! Just one thing, please don't ever go to that arrogant, idiot for clothing again. I know you've tried to weed out all the negativity in your life, and that guy needs to go out with the rest of the trash!! Continued success & happiness!
I love your show!! Last nights episode was soo real and full of emotion. You, Jason, Bryn, and Cookie seem so happy and loved!!
After realizing that there is only one more show left, I decided to post on a blog- for the first time ever because your show CAN"T END!!!! Your show is sooo real- and makes us awesome, NYC, single ladies in their 30's hopeful to find love and have a family!
BRAVO c'mon can u be convincing to do another season?
Bethenny & Jason-Thank you so much for sharing this blessed time in your lives with your fans! My cheeks ache after each episdode of BGM b/c I'm smiling thruout. BTW-Skinnygirl Margaritas were sold out at the first store I went to today. Called another and they put two bottles aside for me because they only had four in stock and they can't keep them on the shelves. You've worked hard and endured a lot to get to where you are today. Congratulations because you deserve every happiness!
I have to agree with Hrlymama3's comments. She said just abut everything I also feel about your show. I look forwrd to Thursday's to watch your show. I laugh and smile through out the entire show. You and Jason are a perfect match. I teared up when you were at your Dr. apt talking about how you cry more because you are so happy. This is so rare on TV, to see pure happiness with your husband, child, dog, and yourself. Good luck. and I LOVE LOVE LOVE your show.
A little advice from a viewer. Love you and Jason's show to death. Please rethink of not leaving us. We're greedy.
I know there are going to be days and nights where you wish Bryn could talk, walk tell you what hurts. Don't wish this time away. I did with my kids and POOF the time is gone. I wished my life away. Enjoy the bags under your eyes, Jason put up with the crabbiness. Jason you have the patience of Jobe! You both are great parents to be with each day that passes.
Bethanny, Love your show and your work.
Bethanny, love love your show, and congrats to you an dJason on your baby girl. I must say I fell out off the couch laughing with you guys, about doing the baby's foot and had print inth paper...4 toes then 6 toes...ha ha ha was halirious.... again congrats and enjoy baby Bryn... thanks for sharing and showing me that us girls in the late 30s can have a first baby and it will all be good... :o)
I absolutely love your show and respect and admire you more as it goes on. You're a positve inspiration compared to the other housewives and most people on tv. You are so honest and HILARIOUS and are just yourself, it's never a 'show for the cameras' Love ya Bethenny and I really hope your show comes back or you do a cooking show cause with your skills, personality and humor you would definetly succeed!!! Best to you and your sweet family :)
Congratulations on your precious baby girl. She is adorable and such a blessing.
I am never one to get on these blogs and write anything, but felt compelled after watching last night's episode to read what you had to say.
It's so good that as a first-time mom, you have recognized the importance of soaking up each and every minute with Bryn JUST AS SHE IS. That is so important. Many new parents spend their time looking forward to watching their child grow and do not live in the moment. I did the same thing with my first boy, and when the second boy came along, I soaked up every second of his babyhood that I could.
God has richly blessed you with a loving family and friends.
Bethenny, please address the issue of your book to the people who are critical of a new mother who is under a deadline. Tell them that you're under contractual obligations to write and finish by a certain date. And that this is the SAME book you were working on while planning your wedding, NOT a new project that you began the day you brought the baby home from the hospital. Also, put robert verdi in the "too toxic for me" bin. He disrespected you by his ill treatment of your employee.
Congratulatios! Your baby is BEAUTIFUL...I am so happy that you overcame your childhood and beacame the beautiful person that you are today. Could you please let me know what the brand name of the handbag you carry on your show. Handbags are my weakness and I ABSOLUTELY love that bag. I wish you and your family the best and best of luck (even though you do not need it)
bethanny, First of all let me say wow we all appreciate you allowing us into your life and i do not know how you do it. I first saw you on the show the apprentice for Martha Stewart and housewives, but i must say that i really enjoy your show because it is so real and you say what is on your heart and my own family is that way. I am so happy that your life has turned around and God has given you a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter. you have taken charge and gotten therapy and are moving forward and that is the best gift you could give your husband and daughter. You are taking care of you and Bryn will be better for that. I know because you have made me realize that I need to seek therapy so i can finally deal with things in my life better and i want to thank you for that and also for skinnny girl margaritas they are great. one huge fan, alice mcdonald
As I sat in my living room last night and watched as you brought Bryn home I had tears in my eyes and a smile that made my cheeks hurt. I remember twenty years ago when I brought my daughter home for the first time and remembered all of the "technical difficulties" we encountered.
God sent Jason and Bryn to you and gave you the perfect gift - a happy, loving family. You deserve every ounce of happiness they have brought into your life. Not only Bryn and Jason but his extended family as well are so fortunate to have you in their lives. I totally bawled my eyes out when they got to the hospital and you gave then the news of their beautiful new granddaughter. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt when you and Jason were doing the prints.
You are definately a changed woman and I love watching you more now than ever. Your are intelligent, strong, hardworking, beautiful - most of all an insperation to all women. Thank you for being you!!!!!
Congratulations and the best of luck!!!!!
Dear Bethenney, I am the teacher who wrote to you months ago about not using filthy language around your precious daughter. I love your show, and although I cannot imagine why anyone would want to open up their life so fully, it is pure joy to see the funny and tender moments that make up your life. I was so happy to see that you are making a real effort to erase most of the gutter language from your life. Here's the way I see it: you are beautiful, talented, highly intelligent, witty and very blessed. You don't need to infuse filthy language into your speech. We love your wit and candor. Jason is the husband every mother dreams for her daughter. Brynn will have a wonderful example to measure against ever man she meets, and know what to look for in a mate. Lucky little girl!Enjoy every moment with your family, especially Jason's parents, and your little extended family there at home. I wish God's abundant blessings for you always!
Yours is the best reality show on TV (well, along with Kathy Griffin -- My Life on the D List)! Bravo to bravo for giving you your own show!
Bethenny, let go of your Mom. SHe was unable to nuture and give you what you needed. You just can't make up years of neglect. Focus on building new positive relationships. One step also would be to fire Max. How dare he write such nonsence about Robert Verdi. This is a relationship business world and he is not helping you by writing that. You need better help. Take the baby steps...1..get rid of Max...2..build better realionships. Call Mama Hoppy more. SHe is a delight and sweet.
THANK YOU for sharing your joy with the world! I watched the episode last night and laughed and cried through the whole hour! Your baby girl is just a precious as she can be and I just fall in love with Jason a little more with each week! As the single parent to 2 boys who are now adults, I can tell you that time flies like the wind and you taking the time to enjoy every minute (good or bad) will be a decision that you will treasure for a lifetime! I wish you, Jason, and baby Bryn all the joy and happiness in the world!!
Watching your show has been so much fun. There have been so many hysterical, loving, honest, and sincere moments and we are all lucky that you have shared it all with us. Your wedding was incredible just as a viewer so I can only imagine how magical it must have been to be seated as a guest. Congratulations to you and Jason!
The arrival of Bryn was so incredibly touching to watch. I truly believe you will become healed from your past as it relates to your mother, through the gift of being Bryn's mother. You're a natural - plain and simple!
For me, the most touching moment of the season so far was Mrs. Hoppy's reaction when she learned you chose Bryn as your daughter's name. I could seriously watch that scene over and over and over again. The sincere joy that came over Mrs. Hoppy was extraordinary and contagious to say the least (I have the chills again from just typing about it!). What an amazing gift it is for the Hoppy's to have 'Bryn' back in their lives.
Congratulations for all you have achieved, and thank you so much for sharing it all with us!
Bethanny and Jason Your daughter Bryn is so sweet and I love your show. When you where makeing her foot print I laughed and cryed. I have not missed one of your shows I sometimes watch it back to back. You have a wounderful husband and a wounderful daughter. May God bless all of you and I will never forget one line you said I laughed I cryed I peeded. I wish you all the happness in the worled! Ps Welcome to this world you are blessed to have such loving parents!!
You were the only reason I watched RHONY what with your wry sense of humor, quick wit, and ability to see reason while surrounded by craziness. I was so excited when you got your own show (ALL Bethenny, ALL the time--yeah!) and you haven't disappointed this fan. I never thought it was possible to showcase your humor AND show your softer side but hey, mission accomplished. Your sweet little family makes me weep with happiness for you. You deserve all the success that come your way. Rock on girl!
I really enjoy watching your show. It's amazing how real you and Jason are. I kinda relate with your past, that's why it makes me happy to see how you are able to build a life with such a wonderful man and now becoming a great mom. I love your sessions with your therapist, I like him. Last time I got emotional too. I hope to see you in new projects in the future. Glad you're gonna be away from Kelly, that's not good for you. Crazy people can be dangerous. Love you and Jason and your new life.
Dearest Betheny: I love your show. I am 58 years old and my little girl is now 20 and moving out next month. After watching you in labor and being a new mom, it brought me back to the day my baby was born. My life finally had some meaning and nothing has mattered except her since that glorious day. I see and feel the same enormous amount of love pouring out of you and Jason. Watching you, your beautiful baby and your wonderful husband makes my week. Thank you for inviting us into your home.
Bethanny, my wife and I love your show. We love the one-liners. You have done well for your self and congrats on all of your happyness.
I did not know my father that well so when I had children (2 girls) I told GOD that I would be the best father I could be. I have to say that my two girls are the best thing GOD could have given my wife and I.
I am glad to see something on tv where no one is trying to hurt someone else. I have a dog just like Cookie, my dogs name is Junior.
Good luck to you, Jason and Bryn.
