My Heart Stood Still

Bethenny talks about her new book, and describes the emotional day she married Jason Hoppy.

By Bethenny Frankel

My new book, Place of Yes, will come out in early 2011. It gives the ten rules to getting what you want. It shows people how to break the chain and turn the past and negatives into positives. It is how I have been successful in many areas of my life.

I wasn't really tempted to name the baby Hip or Bunny, but it would be so damn cute.

Cookie unfortunately doesn't care what anyone thinks about anything. Cookie's job is security guard detail for Jason and me and now she has another family member to protect. She feels like Kevin Costner in The Bodyguard. All Cookie wants right now is more love from me and she is fanatically obsessed with Jason.

The Four Seasons was so spectacular and is so iconic New York. I'm not sure that we could ever depict how beautiful that night was, but the show came close.

Julie wears many "buckets," I mean hats. She knows that anything goes. She is phenomenal. I take very good care of her, but she deserves every bit of it.

I loved watching Jason's wedding day jitters. He is the most incredible man I've ever known and if I was watching another woman marry him, I'd be envious. I love him sooo much.

As for Ramona's "runaway bride" comment, if the bride fits.... Listen, I have run in the past. Sometimes people recreate their past. I broke the chain. And as for Simon getting hammered, if the shoe fits.... Simon likes his liquor. Who am I to talk? I definitely like my booze.

When the door opened and I saw Jason on the altar, my heart stood still. I really was in the moment, so excited, so grateful to enter into a life with this incredible man and a baby in my belly. It was all that mattered and still is.

When the guys broke the "no pool" rule I felt like I wasn't in control which was uncomfortable, but then I realized who gives a crap really? We're certainly not fancy. You can take the animals out of the zoo, but we'll act like animals somewhere else.
