- Bethenny Ever After: Season 2
I have to reach out and really thank you for all for watching and embracing BGM. I really opened up my life to you, and I'm so thrilled about the success of the show. I truly appreciate all of your constant support which is really why I work so hard.
I chose st. Bart for our honeymoon because it is such a picturesque place that is Europe meets the Caribbean. There are incredible private beaches, amazing restaurants and lots to do. It is way overpriced which you need to beware, and the natives can definitely be rude to Americans. Take that for what it's worth. Also, the clothes are beautiful, yet also too expensive. A lot of what I wore was from Old Navy. Visit www.bethenny.com to see where I bought everything else.
As for the skinny dipping scene - Jason and I are often carefree. We were so excited about how far we had come that it literally was a metaphor when we took the plunge.
I mean, seriously, is there anyone else in the world that would have to clean iguana poop in their honeymoon suite? We still cry laughing when we talk about it. Ironically, it was a honeymoon highlight. All I care about is laughter.
Jason wasn't offended when I was hesitant about taking his last name. Jason doesn't get easily offended or he wouldn't be married to me. He really understands me as a person, so he knows what an adjustment taking his name would be.
You have to love and respect a guy who refuses to ask someone else to clean because he left the door open!
I think B is great, but I watch this show primarily because of J. It is interesting to observe an everyman-type compelled by love immerse himself into "celebrity" culture. I am intrigued by the inevitable evolution which will occur in this relationship and am hopeful B will benefit from J's "normalness."
I have high hopes!!
LOVE your show - so light and fun - laughed till I cried about the Iguana... this so reminds me of the I Love Lucy show with Desi and Lucy - I'm completely dating myself now...
Keep up the great work... really enjoy seeing you so happy...
Bethenny, You & Jason make me laugh/cry! Iguana poop-unreal! I did take my husband's name when we married, however, many of us 'professional' women keep our name due to the fact it is like a branding. However, in personal situations with family, friends, or simply date night, I do go by my husband's name. Loved your People article. What a great tribute to name Bryn after Bryan. The two of you are so thoughtful and have big hearts!
We're all learning to love Jason! He is such a sweet guy, so supportive and he seems to take your intensities with a "go with the flow". He will ground you and teach you to relax a little. And he was just wonderful when you got so scared about realizing you are actually having a baby. What a guy!! Can't wait to watch HIM every week! Appreciate all that you have and realize it isn't ALL about you.
Hi Bethenny,
Your success in both your career and love life inspire me and give me hope! I feel positive a good man will come along one day to help complete my already happy life. I think that is the key; you have to be happy with yourself in order for anyone else to be happy with you. Congratulations on all things positive going on your life!
Love the show!!!! Last nights episode was so funny. You and Jason make suck a great couple. You 2 seems so happy together and now you have your baby.
Okay...I love the fact that you embrace your pregnancy but I think the naked photo shoot should have been kept private. I think it was a little TMI!!!
You were my favorite on RHNY and I love your new show. You are funny, smart and beautiful, I wish you many years of happiness with Jason. Enjoy your beautiful new baby, the time really does fly...especially when you're busy and man oh man you are busy!!
The more I watch the show the more I see how real you and jason really are. it was fun watch both of you having so much fun and you don't care what any one thinks I hope the show goes on I love this show better the the house wife shows. I wish you and Jason all the best
Hi, Mommy Bethenny!!
The episode was SOOOO CUTE!! I was busy laughing and smiling!!You looked so LOVELY with the pregnant belly, Bethenny!! I still feel magical that you and Jason met at the club one day....you two are so precious together, and mean to be together!!!
I absolutely love your show.. You are so real.. I loved you on the NY housewives, but I love you more here.. lol.. You are so much better then all the other reality shows on bravo.. You keep it real and there is no drama.. and it GREAT!!! As far as the baby, we never know what to expect when we have kids.. I never knew what to expect with my first or even my second.. But, ya just take it day by day.. And Jason is so great for you!! You guys are soooooooooo cute together.. I love it.. I hope you keep going and going with your show. I can't wait for the labor epsiodes and the episodes of the baby coming home and everything.. You got a definite watcher in me!!!!
Congrats Bethenny! I've really enjoyed watching your new series. I've laughed, cried and been shocked. Watching your life unfold infront of the cameras has been a refreshing and real experience. I love your down-to-earth attitude. And your baby is so beautiful. I think she looks more like her daddy on the People cover. But as you already know their looks continually change. May your life continue to be full of blessings. Thanks for sharing!
Bethenny, I just love your show! I look forward to pulling it up on my DVR and fast forwarding thru commercials. I am currently pregnant with my 2nd child and have 5 weeks left. I can completey identify with the baby countdown on each episode which makes your pregnancy comments even funnier. I wore a bikini in my 7th month to Destin, FL for our family vacation and noticed you did as well! Go girl. You didn't even look pregnant when they showed you from the back.
I am so happy for the wonderful things that life has brought you and hope we get more of BGM in the future. Best wishes to you and Jason and your little girl.
By the way, I am having so many issues finding Skinny Girl Margarita. The liquor store in my area said he is having distributor problems... just FYI.
Bethenny, I just have to tell you that I find myself watching your show with a big smile on my face, every week. It's such a refreshing show, funny, bright, and with lots of warmth. Congratulations on everything positive in your life, you are simply the best!!
Bethenny
When you said "I could be having a platypus" I wanted to reach out and hug you right through the TV screen for being so adorable.
Your show is so entertaining and you are really and truly loveable. Seriously.
I know I am not the only the only who feels this way, but i know we would be best friends if we had ever met. I think that is your appeal, you are such a real person and you don't cover up your flaws. That makes all of us love you and feel comfortable with you. Thanks for sharing your life with us. It is so nice to watch BGM because the love you and Jason have for each other is so real and beautiful, and the funny things that happen to you are the things that happen to all of us too, so we can relate.
On a personal note, thank you for sharing what it is like for those of us who grew up in crazy households and for giving everyone hope that they too can rise above their circumstances and find happiness, success and love in life. You are a true role model and you will never know how many people you have helped. I can't think of a better way to spend a life!! God bless you and your family and tell Bravo that we all want more seasons of BGM!!!
Hi Bethenny! You're wedding and honeymoon looked like so much fun! You really ARE an amazing person...and funny to boot! I totally understood how you felt when watching the little girls on the beach, honestly, I felt that way when pregnant for my first baby in 1977! Yes..I had him when I was twelve! Hahaha! Don't ever think that you're the only woman to ever feel a little scared because the first baby IS life changing! Plus, add to that the labor/delivery and all that IT entails! It IS scary, not just for you, but for most women! If you DIDN'T find it a bit scary, I'd be worried for you, honestly! You are a beautiful person, and I am so excited to watch the next episode!!
Thanks so much Bethenny Im in nursing school all week and your show is the beginning of my weekend and its nice to watch and drink a glass of wine and unwind. You and Jason are amazing!
I loved this past episode, you really looked so beautiful with baby bryn on the beach and Jason is the nicest person who really understands and loves you for you, he's very genuine with you and you both make an incredible family. Congrats Betheny.
Your wedding was beautiful. It really struck me when you said you had no family coming..and now you have this wonderful family that you always deserved-and do not question that. Congrats to you, your husband, your in-laws on the birth of the baby! I also kept my maiden name due to professional reasons and will hypenate my name when possible.
I get you guys are carefree and that is cool. Not sure if I want to see that on the show-EWW..a little too invading privacy for me.
Bethenny
I totally understand not taking you husband's name. Your name is like a brand, everyone knows it and changing it now can be confusing. Also, I had a baby last year and I know how awesome and life changing it is. Cherish every moment as in a blink of an eye they grow up. I wish the very best to you and your family!! I love the show!
Brielle
I've always appreciated your feisty one-liners and genuine take on life going back to RHONY. I think you are a great example of a woman entrepreneur who has really maximized the opportunities and made even more of them for herself as a result of your reality show. You are a big personality and would probably do great to have your own chat show.
All of that said, BGM is exhausting! You have become exhausting to watch! Pregnancy hormones, being dramatic to be interesting to cameras, whatever it may be - I hope there is an excuse and that you will take a step back, take a big deep breath and tone it down. I think you risk wearing out your partner and even viewers - all of which should matter to you because each have contributed to your success and where you are today.
I love your show and how real you are and Jason is such a sweetie - Where did you get your purple bathing suit? I love it!
Loved the show last night - it was funny and touching. I recently had my first child, late in life, and a daughter to boot. I can relate with you on your emotions, I went through the same thing. Keep us laughing, you are my break from "my reality" every Thursday night. Thanks for sharing your life! Best wishes!
Bethenny, Watching your show last night (on your honeymoon), I found myself smiling the whole time. You and Jason are wonderful. You get along so well, really looks like a match made in heaven. Looks like you have so much fun too. I know it was your honeymoon afterall, but your laughter with each other is so genuine, you truly enjoy one another. Best of everything to you both and your beautiful daughter.
LOVE your show. Your honeymoon looked wonderful, despite the iguana, who was so funny! Your scenes with questioning how to handle a baby and whether or not to take Jason's last name were honest and refreshing. Given your painful past, I might eagerly welcome a new name! it's hip to do any name change or other name options these days. You are so well suited to a single-star format. You do NOT need the other housewives to enhance your brand, they actually detract from you and shed a poorer light on you with all their fighting. Your show proves you do not need negativity to make a great, great show. Bravo Bethenny!
Bethenny: I have never written anything before but wanted to let you know how beautiful I think you and the pregnancy photo's are. There is truly somethng magical about this part of nature. I am very happy for you and your family.
Had to type - Totally agree with KathleenM50 - watched you from the beginning -it's so wonderful how the both of you have let us in to your new life - the laughs & the tears. I believe you are the most loving, wonderful mommie & great parents. Kisses & Kudos to your whole family. There's nothing like the scent of a baby - it fills the emotions & heart with such love. I bet Brynn's new grandparents are elated and cuddle her every chance they can. Bethenny, We all love you with your ups & downs & your great personality. All the best!
I have always enjoyed watching you, but BGM is absolutely the best of the best. I laugh until I can't breathe anymore. My husband started watching with me, and when it came to the wedding scenes my husband got misty and teary-eyed, which never EVER happens with anything he watches with me. It is safe to say he loves the show too. Congratulations and the best to you and your family.
Bethenny, Every episode of your show has been fantastic! I'm a grandmother now, and married 41 years, and yet I am totally identifying with you regarding your feelings of anxiety and uncertainty about not knowing what is in store for you when you get married and have children. Your little Bryn is so beautiful in the People Mag issue. Jason and his parents seem like "real" people and they are a perfect balance for your magnificant wit and crazy energy! May your little family have much happiness ahead of you. Love you Bethanny! Real DJ
"Its who I am", resonated so much with me. I married for the first time at age 32. I never considered taking my husbands name. People would ask, why, is it for your "career". I'd say, no it has nothing to do with anything except for the fact that "it's who I am". My husbands concern was, if we have children, what will their names be? I never hesitated. We have two children, and they of course, they have their fathers last name. "It's who they are". They are 9 and 10 1/2 now and have no issues with my last name being different than theirs. As a matter of fact, when they want to get my attention, they actual use my entire first and last name !! Wise asses...See what your in for... its all worth it. I promise. XOX
I love, love, love your show, it's my fave thing to watch Thursdays, I love it so much because I love how vulnerable you can be, the ep where you married Jason made me cry because when he took your veil off I saw the love in your eyes and it was so real, I guess it means so much because aside from my parents and what I feel for my fiance I don't see that very much. I just want you to know you have a true fan here and I can't wait to see your new adventures with your family. I am truly happy that you were able to find your gem in Jason it shows how much you love eachother. Thank you so much for a great show
You and Jason are a beautiful couple, and I'm so happy for you! This episode served as such an entertaining and comical relief for me and my husband--I am 8 months pregnant in this heat of summer and know how you were feeling on the honeymoon! I feel like life is changing so fast and I am helpless to slow it down. It feels like we have had the same breakdowns over how life is going to change and the same issues about our bellies! I laughed so hard that I almost cried when Jason asked why women get hair on their stomachs when pregnant and you told him that you didn't know and to ask God...you both are so real, and it's refreshing. Anyway, again, I am so happy for you and enjoy watching your show very much!
Bethenny, i have never and probably will never again take the time or interest to post a comment about any show, I absolutely love you and your realistic outlook and sense of humor. You and I both say what everyone else is thinking...oopps out loud voice again..lol Can't say enough about how real you are and the refreshing way you live, love and laugh!! LOVE YOU, LOVE THE SHOW!!! So much more entertaining than a bunch of waco women bickering and seemingly having to much money and to much time on the housewives show. Really hope you keep your own show even after the baby is born..wich has obviously already happened and is a little annoying that the show isn't aired in real time. Also hope you keep your ginormous boobs after having the baby..lol Thank you!
Bethenny... I was overcome with emotion watching you talk about your desires of having a daughter. I am the proud mother of two amazing daughters, 24 and 19. They are my oxygen! They both have a solid relationship with their father. He has always been a "hands on" dad from changing diapers to consoling them when they get wounded, weather it be physical or emotional. Because of their great relationship with their dad, they have proven to be strong, secure women in their relationships with the "guys" in their lives. I miss them as "little girls" and holding their little hands in mine, but seeing the two of them evolve into who they are today and sharing in their journey is remarkable. Enjoy the ride!
Bethenny, You're awesome, congrats on everything! This episode was just beautiful as well as hilarious! Also wanted to say great choice of green as the theme color for your nursery; green has a calming influence on the mind and body. I wish you the best in keeping up with all of your wonderful successes!
Hi Bethany,
Please, don't ever go back to the Housewives! Love, love your show and it is so drama free. You are so fricken funny and must say how much I admire Jason. What a good guy!! I must say, after your and Jason's conversation about your total lack of experience with children, I am very anxious to see season 2 unfold revealing motherhood for you! :) I am sure you are a great mommy!
Bethenny,
I think you are inspiring in that you stay true to your self and your feelings. Your new show is awesome and I am happy that you have found the true happiness you were searching for. You deserve nothing but the best.
Bethenny,
You are freakin' awesome! It's about time you got your own show and away from those nut jobs on the RHNYC (ok, so a couple of them are somewhat normal but gawd, WTF with the rest of them!). You and Jason just live your lives and screw all the nutjobs, well maybe not screw them, that's just gross, but you get the point. Your show is fabulous and I love the fact that is so real and naked (no pun intended). It's great to see a couple in love on TV after having to watch a bunch of trainwrecks all the time pretend they are in love so they get a record deal or smthg! Anyway, all the best to you and your new family! And when does season 2 start???!!! Come on Andy, there better be a season 2!
I just wanted to say I love your show, you are great. Congrats!! You deserve everything that you have been working for. Your daughter is beautiful and it looks like you found a wonderful husband.
How refreshing to watch you and Jason laughing together! In life, to be able to marry not only your love, but your best friend, is truly a gift from God. Congratulations on getting over your past pain with laughter and love. Laughter helps us get through the toughest of times, so I have a feeling that your family life will be fabulous and Brynn has been blessed to have the two of you for her parents. Much love coming your way!
I fell behind with vacation, so watched all 3 episodes last night and I laughed, I cried, I laughed again and I cried again. The tears of joy at the most magical, perfect wedding ceremony ever!!! The honeymoon was just what you needed after all the stress and planning. The wedding went off without a hitch! I can't wait for next week to see the new baby day! God bless always, keep laughing and smiling and being you!!!
By the way, the pin over the belly worked for me too, a boy though!!
Love it, same happen to me in my Honeymoon...a big (really big) spider but give us good luck we had been married for 15 years.
Loved last nights show!! you and Jason obviously have great fun together.. I might have a name solution for you to think about... You are Mrs Hoppy for the PTA and the pediatrician and Ms. Frankel for the book signings and tv apperances just a little food for thought.. can't wait to see next weeks episode.. i have 3 children myself and only used a epidural for the last one so i'm waiting to see your take on labor and delivery --

love this show it is so good you are a great person and jason is so good for you you both just click its nice to watch a show that is not all about fights enough of that hope the show is here at least for awhile but if you decide that the cameras are to much just no you will never be forgotten all the best
