It is getting CLOSER and CLOSER to the wedding day, and you can tell that everyone is on edge. I was just trying to stay organized, keep Bethenny on schedule and be very calm about everything.
However, even with all of the wedding planning and baby planning, Bethenny still had a business to run, and the liquor signing you see in this week's episode is just one part of the biz. I have been to many appearances with Bethenny, but the liquor signing was the first of its kind. She is usually signing books! When we arrived, I could not believe how packed it was. Bethenny really shines at these types of events. Her witty and funny comments were a real crowd-pleaser, and she stayed to sign every last bottle. I think that Max had it right when he did the impression of Bethenny. Sometimes you can't win to lose with her. If he would have gotten a girls number she would have complained and yet when he did not, she questioned him. I try to always be all about business at work, so I glad Max tried to take that approach at this appearance.
I remember the moment where Bethenny had the idea to get Jason the Romero Britto painting. I was in the office and she screamed to me from her bedroom that she had the perfect wedding gift for Jason. I am sure that I was typing emails and listening out of one ear, but when she came in and explained the story about the painting to me, I knew that Jason would love it. I was happy that Bethenny had found such a personal and touching gift for him. Sometimes it is so tough to think of a gift for the person you love.
Am I scared for Shawn and the cake situation? Yes. I know the wrath of Bethenny. The cake better be PERFECT!
I am so lucky that Bethenny wants me to be such a part of the important days in her life. The bridal shower at Bagatelle in New York was SO much fun. It was great to be around all of the important women in Bethenny's life and have them all let loose and have a good time. I loved dancing, eating and chatting with the girls, and not (really) having to think about work. Although all of my friends will disagree, saying that I am "always working."
I think all the work and care you do for Beth is awesome! Your toast to them was VERY touching. A++++
you seem so put together and your blogs flow. they are professional with a touch of personal emotion (which is hard to do when this is your job and this is your boss and her business you are righting about). loved the blog and the inside scoop or behind the scenes food for thought nature of your writing!
thought you were great on tonights episode!!!
It's so clear that Bethenny and Jason are a match. I love her humor and love even more that as busy as she is she never forgets what a gift Jason is....now the baby!!! Your toast made me drop a tear or two.
Hi Julie! Last night's show was funny, sad and business as usual all at the same time! Your toast was very touching and you're very lucky to be working for Bethenny! I know she sometimes yells about things, but you always seem to be able to keep a distinction between her business yell and her personal yell! HAH! It seems like Bethenny truly cares about you and would probably be lost without you in her office! It's like she wants you in her personal life as well...everything happens right there in her apartment, so it's probably hard to separate the two! You do it ALL well!!!
Your toast was very sweet and gave viewers more of an insight to Jason and Bethenny. We get to see only a limited edit of things, your toast enabled us to get a better overview! Knowing that was from your heart and seeing Bethenny's tearful reaction, made it all the more real!
your toast to jason and bethenny was so touching you can tell that you love bethenny and its not just a job even when she is complaining you have a little smile on your face as if to say i understand please stay with her she depends on you
Your a treasure and Bethenny is lucky to have you in her work world and her personal life! LOVE THIS SHOW!
Julie what a beautiful toast. I have to tell you I love this show and I think that you are such an excellent assistant. You are down to earth and I can tell that you love Bethenny and Jason. How wonderful for you to be a part of such a wonderful family and show.
Julie, it was the best episode so far! And it makes us all salivate for next week.
You seem to be a great fit to the complex enigma that is Bethenny. And with her comes the rest of her new family and you seem to mesh with all of it gracefully. Good for you!
I certainly hope the wedding planner is getting an increase in his business after his exposure on BGM? He seems to be a great event planner and to hold up against Bethenny's quest for perfection, and to deliver this beautiful wedding is a testament to his abilities.
Will be watching next week!
Hope you are well!
You are a lady that wears many hats and also one of being a friend and sister to Bethenny and as a result you are now a family member of theirs. We love you for your extreme loyalty. The toast that you offered Jason and Bethenny was so extremely heart warming and it did come from the cockles of your heart. You truly are a super person. Their love is so evident and Bryn is a blessing from that love.
Can hardly wait until next episode. This is so much fun that I feel like a little kid anticipating their next move.
What a sweet toast last night. You are a lucky girl to be on the show - what a fun time in your life!
I really enjoy the show and look forward to next week and beyond. What a refreshing, touching program!
Julie- You do a great job!! It's evident that you are taking care of things in major way even though we don't see that much of you so far. I loved your toast at the rehearsal luncheon and it made me tear up somewhat- you are truly sincere.
Your toast was so lovely, impromptu or not. I cannot imagine what your days are like. All I can do is equate the flic, The Devil Wears Prada with your frenzied existence. The cool part is, you are young, have gained insight to interpersonal relationships like the fly on the wall and I expect you will take in that info and learn from it. That in and of itself is worth all the time and effort you exert.
BTW, You look amazing on this show. Don't know what you did between RHWONY and BGM? but you look stellar.
Brava to you on so many levels.
Oh Julie your toast was perfect! And you are another "rock" in BEthenny's life it's clear. Thanks for sharing your take and look forward to seeing you at the wedding! xo
Julie, first, please..PLEASE..post a photo on your blog. It will look more...? something. I hope Shawn also posts one.
I really do think that you are like family to Bethenny. She has gotten a wonderful family with Jason and Bryn and Cookie, as well as his loving parents who are so warm and loving toward her.
Your toast was awesome. Definitely heartfelt. I really dig you. You really do keep it all together :)
Julie... you are so right about working so personally w/someone (in their home) and holding that line between personal and professional... it's NOT easy... yet CAN be done! Just takes pretty special people who are able to be honest and somewhat thick-skinned. You sure don't LOOK thick-skinned, but we KNOW you must be cuz B KNOWS what she wants and how she wants it!
(I sound like an idiot... like I KNOW B!!!) Jesus!!!
Anyway, you ARE a JEWEL and I'm so glad you're part of the family!!!
It's nice to know that Bethenny has someone like you in her corner.. Good luck to you with this new venture..
Bethenny! You seem like a very together woman. I myself have never met my father so you are very fortunate to have been in his life for some time at least. I feel your tears and pain when it comes to being emotional about having a small/0 family. I have struggled with this for many years. You are amazing and please realize that. I do not know you personally but you seem like you are a strong women and I can see that. Congrats on the beautiful new baby and amazing husband!

That was so touching and beautiful. Bethenny's a very lucky woman to have a person like you in her life.
Love your perspective. Can't wait until Thursday's episode. It is so new and exciting to the fans and just a great memory for you, but we are salivating to see the wedding!
Hello Julie, I loved your toast to Bethennay and Jason. Before Jason entered Bethenny's life I always felt that you helped in keeping her grounded. We've always seen you working hard, but at the lunches we got to see just how pretty you are. I love how you hold down the Fort and Max has to keep up with Bethenny. I'm also Scared (while laughing) for Shawn, he is very sweet BUT don't ever disagree with a pregnant bride. p.s. Cookie Needs her own blog, Dog spelled backwards is God. Please tell Bethenny that I have all hers books--LOVE THEM-- and I would take a Bazooka to kill a fly!!
Hey Julie- That speech was sweet!Bethenny must think alot ofyou to have you there.I love Bethenny she cracks me up! You have the coolest job. What did you think of her hiring Max? Did you have any input to the hiring process? How do you think he's working out? Nice to have some eye-candy huh? LOL
Please talk BRAVO, Bethenny, and Team Bethenny into a show called Bethenny After the Wedding! Viewer's are now addicted to you all.
P.S. Bethenny is so lucky to have you....I'm sure your job discription never included taking off her undies to pee in a bucket at her wedding???? God bless you!
Julie- you really rose to the occassion at Bethanny's lunch before the wedding. That toast along with Bethanny's gift to Jason was what I consider two of the most special moments of the wedding. It was heartfelt by all including me, I think it even made me cry of happiness. You are a good judge of people just knowing how special Jason was from the beginning. Bethanny is a real catch for him too, she is beautiful, a bit crued , but hysterically funny. My favorite line of hers was when they were in Alantic City and some woman slightly over weight, and had a little too much to drink, took a fall as Bethanny walked by with her gay boyfriend, Chuck and saw this she said "clean up on isle 9". Chuck went hysterical and so did I, I still laugh when I think about it. I'm not sadistic or anything, I know she could tell the woman wasn't hurt and so could I.
One of the most precious moments for me listening to the ceremony was when Bethanny said almost in a little girl voice that this was truly the happiest day in her life. She spoke right from her heart and her words were so meaningful and real. This truly was extrordinary television, the whole series has been. Thank you Julie for being such a good sport and sharing your moments of reality with your employer, friend and I guess now family. Wishing you all the blessings and dreams come true for you for being there for Bethanny and Jason and being even better than a sister would be. God Bless, Tu sense
