I was surprised at Robert Verdi's reaction to you ... he really wasn't cool at all. I used to watch one of his shows on Discovery... he seemed ok.

Max you were more than a gentleman but instead of a fist fight you definitely should never let anyone treat you like that again. You are a great guy and my respect for you grew by leaps and bounds. Whats his name has destroyed his career - all by himself. There are very few people that will tolerate people who treat others which such rudeness. I NEVER have blogged in my life and I do not know if I am even doing this right. I just hope it gets out to the public so everyone can see what the bald guy said and did to you. You never showed any hostility, you never brought in on and he was saying those things for one simple reason.... he has incredible LOW self esteem. Bethany should have left his place immediately and I hope she comes out goes public with the fact that she will never associate with him again. If she does...... she isn't the person I think she is. I am assuming you have never seen any of his shows, he jokes all the time. Nothing to get worked up over. Unless, you are feeling a lack of confidence in your career choice. Hmmm?

My observation is that RV was being a dramaqueen and completely jealous of you being B's personal assistant. You see, he only gets to be on the show occasionally whereas you are part of the regular team! Don't let him make you loose your job by knowing your buttons. Play it cool. For sure B will fire you if you batter someone since they can sue her for your actions under Agency law and this job is too important for your career, ok?

Max- I have said this before about some other cast members...When you are raised to respect all people, it is difficult to deal with people who are totally obnoxious and disrespectful. Let's face it, they have had way more practice being rude. Trying to react on their level almost never works. (Alex are you listening?)My advice is to work hard, be good to the people you love, stay cool with your reactions and let the jerks self destruct. I think Mr. Verdi lost many fans with his behavior.

MAx, aside from Bryn, you were the star of this episode. Your inability to pull the trigger was beyond funny and actually really adorable. You were extremely professional when dealing with Robert. I worked as a nanny /personal assistant and was treated as low class because of my position sometimes, and I took the punches early on, but it got to a point where enough was enough and I had to stand up for myself. Nobody should be treated that way. I can't stand pretentious, stuck up people like Robert, and they need to be put in their place. I'm dreading next weeks show for your sake though!!! yikes!!!!

I was shocked at how unprofessional and immature Robert Verdi behaved. You displayed much more maturity and CLASS then he did. He has taken a complete nosedive in my estimation of him. Max, Please let Bethany know that as your employer - SHE should have dealt with that incredibly rude Robert Verdi. You shouldn't have to deal with that, nor should she have told you "your joke still isn't funny." (and it totally was) You did nothing wrong and she should have defended you, not to belittle you as a man, but as an employer who is watching her employee be mistreated. I am typically a fan of Bethany, but she really pissed me off in this episode with her attitude. You shouldn't have had to "sink or swim." He was completely inappropriate and out of line. Bethany should have recognized that and dealt with him privately and professionally.

I can't believe Robert's behavior either! He may be a famous fashion stylist, but it isn't like is so handsome he gets to make fun of others. Oh Max...That clip of you trying to ask KF out for the first time was both absolutely precious...as well as absolutely hilarious in a charming sort of way!
