Very well-written, sweet blog...could not stop laughing at the Cookie part you wrote! The looks between you two on the show are hilarious! I have a Lhasa Apso and she is exactly the same as Cookie so I can totally relate. I'm so glad to see you on the show and ditto to you having your own show. I would definitely watch faithfully. Also, glad you thought Robert Verdi's behavior was as bad as it came across.

you need to design a man-cave for Jason. He needs a place to get away from it all. That condo could not be big enough for all the egos that surround Bethenny. Now Max is hating on my hero Robert Verdi. I always loved his shows!! Max needs to learn how to behave in social situations. Maybe there is a etiquette school that he could go to in NYC. He is probably the type that does not know what fork to use, or where the napkin goes.

Hey that gave me an idea...it has been 29 years since my sis's gave me a wedding shower. Do you think I should throw myself a shower? Some of the tupperware is missing lids, pots have worn out, thing got broken...etc. If the new trend is to throw yourself showers...then maybe I am not up on the new trends. Shawn, you are such a great guy - love your facial expressions and verbal digs. It appears that you are an integral member of Bethenny's extended family. Your support of Max is as endearing as your happiness for the Hoppys. Yet, I peed in my panties when Cookie nearly attacked you. She was priceless: the stare, the growl, and then the lurch - with you barely making it out alive. Keep up the excellent work - wishing you continued success as you will surely get tons of new clients!

Shawn, you are truly one of a kind. They obviously broke the mold after they made you! At the wedding when you were escorting Bethenny to the doors where she would walk out, it was really magical. You were quiet (and even said, "shh, shh, shh" to Bethenny so she wouldn't get worked up over her veil when she thought you were stepping on it) focused and didn't want her to miss anything about that moment. It truly was like you had your mind set and focused to get her to that area quietly so that she would take it all in, not miss a moment, relish in it. And when Bethenny walked down the isle... Shawn, it truly seemed as though you were like a brother or father-figure and were so proud. It almost looked as though you didn't want to let her go alone, there was just something in your eyes. You were proud! Anyone who watched the entire season, and how you and Bethenny's relationship developed, one would know you wanted this to be perfect and magical for Bethenny. And at that moment, it seemed as though you had a moment of sadness that she had to walk that stretch alone. And I love the way when you guys were walking out of the first doors, you said to Bethenny, "are you ready" and she turned her head half-way towards you, and said "Yes, are you ready". Just the inflection in her voice, one couldn't help but realize there is a mutual admiration between you two. I truly hope you and Bethenny remain friends and keep in touch. Bethenny needs to be surrounded with the Shawn's, Jason's, and Julie's of this world so that she doesn't ever go another day taking on the world alone. There is no doubt Bethenny will still take on the world as only Bethenny can do, it would just be ashamed if she ever had to do it alone again. Thank you for being apart of the show and BRAVO to you Shawn! You are truly a remarkable man!

I lost my only son 8 months ago.Shawn I am saying this to you because my brother is also gay.He and I were very close. We live in a small city in P.A. not far from where Jason is from.Aside from the fact you are an asset to the show and have great taste and funny.When Jason realized what it must have been like for his mom to lose Ryan I was so glad he kind of got the word out.People dont understand why I am not doing better.It also revealed how sensitive he is.I Knew you were.This isnt cute or witty and probaly wont get posted.Ive always loved Bethenny on both shows.Your the only people that make me laugh.

Now that I've read your blog, it makes perfect sense why you looked so at ease when you were holding Bryn. Seeing you back was the great, seeing you with Bryn was much like the icing on the red velvet cake! I like the idea of a shower, however it is not approriate for Bethenney to give herself one. What you should be planning is a baptism party or something along those lines depending on their faiths. Showers are given by friends. I gave my sister a wedding shower, and my cousin a baby shower. I never gave myself a shower. I think another type of event would be better. SHowers occure before the child is born. Don't be part of something that is not going to seem right. My suggestion is to scrap the shower and go for just a come see our baby party.

I remember Robert Verdi back in the day when he was just getting started decorating spaces for HGTV. My, what a little success can do for you. I was very disappointed in his arrogang attitude.
