Ride for Doug: We all know what a great person Doug was and I don't think we could ever do enough to truly show how amazing he was. That said our Ride for Doug really gave us all an opportunity to finally get closure and began to move forward knowing that he will forever be in our hearts. It's still difficult to this day to really grasp that he is really gone. Miss you much DB you are gone but never will be forgotten.

Jackie and Rebecca really looked cute at the golf range, their relationship seems to mirror a similar situation that I am currently in. As long as all parties involved know what's going on there should be no harm and no foul.

Hey Andre!

I just wanted to say thanks for sharing your thoughts on the season. I was a little dissappointed that Kiki gave up on herself like that. I do agree with Jackie when she stated that was in no way a reflection on you as a trainer. I hope you know that.
I love the show and hope I get to see you guys again for another season. Take care.

Andre, You are such an awesome person. I have enjoyed watching this season. When the show first started, I told myself I was NOT going to be sucked into another show.... here I am, two seasons later, and feel like I know all of you personally!! LOL on me! You are right, Doug will never be forgotten. I cried with all of you when the news was broken. He left behind such a wonderful legacy of honesty, love, and understanding that is a rarety among so many people now-a-days. You are trully blessed to know him. I am blessed to have gotten the opportunity to see him and take in all the wonderful things he stood for. God bless you Andre, you are a wonderful person. Hugs and love, Kris

Well, looks like another season of Work Out has come to an end. We have definately had to take the bitter with the sweet this time around. Dealing with the loss of Doug was a major life changing experience, although for the good. Not good that he died but good in the sense of how he opened so many peoples eyes as to the true meaning of life and how to not sweat the small stuff. Many of us didn't know Doug yet he had a big impact on us. I know I have done some self evaluating as of late. Take comfort in knowing that you were one of the lucky ones who actually knew "Blue Eyes" in a personal manner. Could you imagine a world full of people like Doug? Wow, that would be awesome!

Hopefully the exposue that you have had enhances your clientel to your benefit. You are an excellent trainer and a good person. Keep doing what makes you happy and it will transfer to others. Stay true to you inspite of it all. I look forward to a Season 3. Things seem to be just getting started @ SkySport and with the SkyLab project (if you need a more commited and determined client next time around holla at me fam! I'm down for whatever you throw my way!)

God bless!

Hi Andre,

Thanks for season 2!! I'm really hoping for a season 3! I've been really inspired and I hope I can keep going without the show!! :) I keep hearing Jackie saying--" Salsa---5 calories---slap it on everything..." LOL I'm going to have to keep working on my diet end of things. The work out part is moving along! I'm down 5 pounds as of today!! Yay me! :)

Thanks for all the encouragement! I'd love to be a SkyLab client someday! Never know!

Take care,

Chrissy

Hi Andre,
I just wanted to say as the above people have said, It's a shame that Kiki did'nt take the high road with you and stick it out and try to make a change with her life. You did the best you could with what you had to work with. You get to the point where "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink." I hope she gets into a healthy lifestyle at some point because as Jackie said for now she has her youth but in a few yrs she could have serious problems. Hopefully she works on it before it's too late. You guys gave her the opportunity of a lifetime and it was her bad judgement not to try to run with it. You are a great trainer and I am glad Jackie backed you up by stating that it was'nt your fault.
As I have said before I am very sorry for your loss of Doug. He did seem like a great person with a great spirit. I look forward to Season 3 and seeing you guys again. I am addicited to the show, and I can't wait until the reunion show.
Great Job Andre !!
Peace and Love,
God Bless,
Pammy in PA- we need trainers like you at my gym :-)

Hi Andre,

Thank you for being a solid and gorgeous (inside and out) example of a good friend and man. Your outward show of support to Brian when you all were grieving over the loss of Doug was beautiful. I look forward to seeing you again next season. You and Brian are the reason I watch and will continue to watch Work Out. Keep us posted about any work out dvd's you and/or Brian have coming out. Thank you.

peace and blessings,

Simone

Hey Andre!
I never thought I would find myself watching the first show but here I am and I have just seen the end of season two. Also, I would have never thought I would find myself here writing you, but I think after watching both seasons, you guys somewhat became friends or people I know, because I was and am so into the show, so when Doug died.. I was truly sadden and shock. Because I also had someone close die not to long ago..Its hard to see that person everyday, or be able to pick up the phone and call them and then by the next day, know that..that person is no longer on this earth ..its werid and hard to deal with. Doug seemed like a really nice and genuine person and he will be missed and I just want to say I am sorry you lost a friend. I think everyone watching the show was truly touch, because by watching , we get to see and learn different values, motivation, and compassion along with having a passion for what you do and for the people you work with. As far as Kiki, some people are afraid of change, and thats what it boils do to. When you get past denial, and making excusses, and start wanting to take back control of your life.. only then can a person begin to work out and get there body healthy and in shape. Believe me, when I decided to loose some pounds, denial, excusses and everything above came first, then I got serious.. just know that she does not reflect you. So, I hope to see you guys for another season and wish you the best and God Bless!
Peace!

Hello Andre!

I am really proud to hear you say on the show tonight that you would love to start a physical training for the minority. That is something that I have been thinking about for years, I wished it was someone that will come out with an idea like that. I am very proud to hear you speak upon that. If you ever need a lab rat I am your pick! (LOL) I could really use the motivation. I wish we had people here where I am from that cared as much as you guys do, it just seems like you all are just such a big family I really need that kind of love. I have so much love in my heart. When you are around people that are not like you it's like you just don't fit in. I really pray and hope one day you will come my way in Decatur IL.

What it do? I think you are great very intelligent and I love that you want to give back to the community. I wish I had the chance that Keke had but I know her story all to well. In my life I have always put my health last. I have been up to 230 pounds to 158 and I really want to lose weight and keep it off. I will be turning 30 on August 31st of this year. I'm about 5'6 1/2 .. I have been doing the Master Cleanse aka Lemonade Diet for about 10 days. I lost 21 pounds the first time I did it. I plan to keep using the Master Cleanse - MC for 10 days out of each month for the next 4 months. I am at 210 now but I hope to be at 165 by my birthday. Do you think it's realistic if I work out as well as eat healthy? I want to lose at a rate of 11.75 lbs. per month.

PS: Very sorry to hear about Doug's passing. I know he is in a better place I pray for his friend to get better as well.

Peace and Love to everyone!
Blessings & Positivity

Andre,
I have truly enjoyed watching you this season. I think all of those who watched this second season were totally shocked (to say the least) when Doug passed. Tonight, I was watching the reunion show and the tears would not stop (again). I did not know Doug personally, but felt a closeness from watching the show. The SkySport crew is the best on the planet. Maybe one day I can visit you when I come visit my relatives, and workout some stress!!! love and light, Leslie :-)

andre, i heard you mention that you want to work with african-american youth and i thought i would run an idea by you. i am a counselor for a fantastic organization called growth and development services in new york city. it is a not-for-profit organization that was established to give teenagers who are challenged by emotional, behavioral, and social issues the opportunity to reach their potential. each summer we take these teens to the country for 4 days and work on their self esteem. i thought this would be the perfect outlet for you to share your skills and talents. most of the teens have no clue about nutrition and fitness.

I've just tuned into your show this season and I've really enjoyed it. I've enjoyed all of you and what you bring to make the show and Skysport so successful. Watching the show last night you said something so wonderful about helping the African American community focus on our health, I have just recently started to focus on my own and when I look around in our community I see we need so much help in this area. So I Thank you for remembering to give back. Can't believe that's the last show for this season. Looking foward to next season. Take care.

Andre,
I had no idea you were such good friends with Doug until last night's episode. And your dream - to try and estabish something in the African American community to educate our people on the benefits of exercise. I am currently working with one of my college buddies to try to bring diabetic information and assistance to the African American community here in the greater Seattle area. I hope it works out for all of us. There's a lotof healthy education missing in our communities across the country and it's nice to see that someone shares a dream of helping these people. Take care and God Bless, until next season.
