He's a kobe king! He's "just here to cook!" He's a hetero heartthrob! He's "just a chef!" He's under the radar And he IS TOP CHEF!

YO HAROLD! You guys are burying me right now! I'm prepping to be on the TODAY show and FOX AND FRIENDS...

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE TOP CHEF? Huge honor!!! Very tough competition — total honor. Fierce competitors and total honor.

WHEN SHE SAID YOUR NAME — DID YOU THINK YOU'D ALREADY WON? NO! It was up in the air in my mind. The judges brought up a lot about what they didn't like. I knew it could've gone either way.

YOU WERE SO SOFT-SPOKEN DURING THE SHOW, DO YOU THINK YOUR STAYING ABOVE THE FRAY HELPED YOU TO WIN AND WAS THAT A CONSCIOUS DECISION? I don't think it was premeditated. There's enough stress and pressure put on that just having tension with others isn't gonna help. I just focused on the food the whole time other than who I was going to get along with or not.

WHO WERE YOU MOST INTIMIDATED ABOUT COOKING FOR IN THAT LAST CHALLENGE? WAS THAT THE MOST DAUNTING TABLE YOU'VE COOKED FOR? Probably Dana from "Food and Wine." Most of those other people I had cooked for at various times. You want to impress everyone. She's the editor of "Food and Wine" plus she has a great palate.

YOU HAVE BECOME THE BRAVO'S HETERO HEARTTHROB! It's certainly flattering cuz I feel like a boy band member! It's just crazy -- I was at a restaurant the other night and a half dozen teenage girls come by my table freaking out. I am not a big deal at all.

HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT DAVE'S ELIMINATION LAST WEEK? FANS OF THE SHOW ARE CONVINCED THAT WAS FIXED. It's one of those things that's really tough. A lot of people didn't agree with Lee Anne getting eliminated and then people were bummed about Dave. They're the judges rules. Unfortunately I can't taste anybody else's food in the competition except for the first episode. I didn't really think it was unfair. I don't know what the judges are going for in each competition -- and they had their rules in each competition. I was bummed that the acrobats in Cirque wanted their meat cooked a different way. It's the judge's call, that's it.

WE SHOT THE FINALE BEFORE WE SHOT THE REUNION SHOW -- I'M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHEN ALL THE BAD BLOOD FOR TIFFANI REALLY GOT CRAZY... DID IT FESTER AFTER WE SHOT THE FIRST 9 EPISODES OR AFTER THE FINALE OR WHAT? I think it was an opportunity for people to come clean to come clean. Stephen came clean and the fact that there were some situations where the judges asked her straight out what she said about people she was beating around the bush. This was an opportunity for her to come clean and she didn't. I still think she's a sweet person and a talented chef and she needs to find herself.
