How great that Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan immersed themselves in Bravo on Valentine's day and went from dinner with Bravo Prexy Lauren Zalaznick to be guests on "Watch What Happens!" They brought with them their incredibly gassy dog, Liberace. I am told that Lee is not always that gassy, but there was a Valentine stench in our wee studio last night that smelled like a flatulence ward for the elderly, if there is such a place. (Watch last night's show here.)
I was full -- but not gassy -- myself, coming from dinner on the Upper West Side with my pals Dave Ansel and Allison Levy. I thought a massive amount of broccoli might have turned my stomach but I was no match for that pooch.
I am not a trained TV host and this show has been like Live TV Boot Camp for the past five weeks. Last night was the "technical problem" portion of the basic training. The conceit of Watch What Happens is that we take your calls and also emails and texts, which I read off a computer. Wouldn't you know that the moment we went live a pop-up filled my screen saying that now was the moment I must install some NBC Universal Security Software. So serious in intent was this pop-up that there was no minimizing it or moving it in order to read my mailbox.

Hey Andy, great after after show :)
I called last night (Billy from Long beach, CA) & asked Simon the question about his memoirs.
I was also going to ask you a question ......... but I chickened out.
I was going to ask if you would be my Valentine ;) (since it was 11:30 pm your time it would've been a very short commitment). I just thought everyone should be asked (at least once) on that day.
Happy belated Valentines Day and I guess I'll have to wait until next year.

Hi Andy, love your after show, we also love
Top design and enjoy the challanges. The contestants are all talented. It's a pleasure to watch the show and not be all irritated with tension due to mean spirited and nasty people. The show speaks for itself, the challanges are fun, the designers are talented, the judges are knowledgeble and the TV audiance is happy!

I enjoy watching Top Design. It's an interesting show concept and is handled creatively and with some fun. I not only get a kick out of watching the contestants interact, but I am learning things about design and that whole world that are so cool - just as I did with Top Chef and Runway.
BUT! That swishing sound you use whenever the scene changes is so incredibly distracting and annoying, it makes me want to smack someone. Please let up on that. PLEASE!
