Taking A Wide Stance

September 4, 2007

I am back from ten days floating around the coast of Spain. It was so good that my mind is actually now dulce de leche. (Usually it is RAZOR SHARP, but Spain made it jelly, see!)

Today is the first day back at school and there is no time to lollygag and blither blather about my past week as an Ibizan floozy and Mallorcan pro surfer. There is serious stuff in this week's daybook and the future is now! It's fashion week in NYC, people! It's the launch week of "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style"! It's the finale of "Flipping Out" tonight! It's a new "Top Chef"! I am hosting a birthday dinner tonight and going to LA on Thursday! "Big Brother 8" is in it's final stretch! It is time to take a wide stance!

I wanted last week to be about shutting down in preparation for the madness of the fall, and so I tried to keep pop culture at arm's length. I did fully engage in the Larry Craig saga; A US Senator defending his bathroom jerkoff with his TMI declaration of taking a wide stance when he poops is beyond the beyond. We are in unchartered territory, peoples. All bets are off.

"Taking a wide stance" is one of the funniest things I've ever heard! I've been throwing that phrase around all weekend and when I saw it on the top of your blog I laughed. Out loud even (LOLZ!).

I bet that Paris has taken a wide stance and then some. With and without her pillow.

Uno: Were you with AC and did he actually have to come back?

Dos: Did you tivo JT on HBO? Hot...

We want your blog comments! We will read and approve them as soon as we can, but sometimes they can take a little while to show up online. Here are some guidelines:

  1. Keep it clean. You're a Bravo fan, you know better words than most TV audiences.
  2. Avoid using ALL CAPS! (It’s like screaming...)
  3. We don't post e-mail addresses or phone numbers.
  4. Have a good time. We love that you love the blogs.
