Watching Hung win Top Chef on live TV was a great moment. So was watching the superstar chefs walking out of the gondolas. So isn't it fitting that at the end of this week of moments, we're launching voting for your favorite Bravo reality moments HERE?
It is going to be fun to vote, because we have put 50 unforgettable clips up for your viewing and voting pleasure. I am not trying to influence voting, but may I share a few of my favorites?

The "live" aspect of the finale added nothing to the show. I hated it.

I LOVE that Santino moment. Plus all his impressions of Tim from that season. "Where's Andrae?!"

What about when Howie quoted Anthony Bourdain's book, to Anthony Bourdain? Although I was not a Howie-fan, this moment was priceless, and Bourdain's response was, well, brilliant. It's why reality TV is so great!

Sorry but Top Chef is the only thing on Bravo that I follow, so no voting. Great show! I've watched each episode from each season ( most more than once *L*), and this season was as good as the first, which was better than the second season ( though with all that hatred and animosity had more drama. It was genius to have Anthony Bourdain appear more than once, perhaps he should have a show of his own? ( The Travel channel show is good, but.............)
A suggestion, how about early on in the next season the chefs get to do what the 3 last standing contestants did?? Cook what they like to show what they can really do. It seemed that in the past shows we never got to see how good some of the chefs can cook other than in the Vending machine challenge or Quick- cook -Latino food ( A Lia fan here)( and Josie from season 2)
Keep up the great work!!

Top Chef is one of my favorite shows. However, the finale of season 3 was the biggest disappointment when the most arrogant and most selfserving individual won.

I do not like this idea at all. Why highlight moments that include incidents that led to the assault of one of your contestants. Maybe not directly, but definitely set the tone. I still think it is Bravo's shame that it continues to promote the careers of Ilan and Sam, two participants in a crime. Congratulations on a mostly drama-free, interesting season 3 of Top Chef.

Having watched every season and episode of all the Project Runways and Top Chefs, the scene with Howie quoting Anthony Burdains book was priceless! Couldn't have been scripted any better, but Santino's take on Tim Gunn with "Where's Andrae?" "Andrae...why are you fighting with me here at Red Lobster?" or something to that effect was also just hilarious. My vote would be for those 2 whichever category you might put them in. The editing of Jeff's cat going to the acupuncturist was the next closest you have available: "He actually likes it" (mmmmrrrooowwww.....!)

A summary of blog comments for the producers:
things a lot of regular viewers loved about TC3:
-the blogs
-the professionalism of the season 3 contestants (kudos to the selection committee!)
-the judges commitment to fairness
-Bourdain guest judging
-seeing celebrity chefs cook
-the French Culinary Institute episode
things a lot of regular viewers didn't like about TC3:
-making the contestants adjust to high altitude for their most important challenge
-the live finale
-the "see--it's the same day!" trick of having the judges wear the same clothes in the aspen finale episode and the live finale in chicago--it just seemed dumb
things viewers want in TC4:
-Tom to be allowed to mentor the contestants more (Tim Gunn style)
-more Bourdain appearances
-appearances by LeeAnn
-occasional explanations of the terminology us average joes don't understand (text at the bottom of the screen would work, or little explanations given by contestants or judges at the end of the show like the short segments at the end of Queer Eye)
A lot of people wrote that they thought this was the best season of Top Chef.
And there was a distinct absence of Padma-bashing, so I guess I'm not the only one who has started to like her and forgiven her for not being Julie (I thought the fix-Padma-breakfast challenge was a cool idea, btw.)
Thanks to the producers for all your hard work--it shows. In my opinion this is by far the best reality show on TV. I root for it every year during the Emmy's!

Andy - Very poor pickins on the best moments - Where is Top Chef Season 1 when Dave says to Tiffani "I'm not your bitch, bitch" for goodness sake a T-Shirt was made for that. Also from Season 1 Top Chef how could you forget "Ken" tasting the sauce with his finger and Dave & Stephen getting drunk because they had to work for Tiffani? Project Runway, I also agree with previous poster, nothing funnier than Santino doing his Tim Gunn impression "Where's Andre"? I think you should have polled the viewers and asked them then came up with the moments. As far as Top Chef Season 2 there are a lot of us that would just like to forget that season of pre-schoolers.

I was a Lia fan too...I am still terribly disappointed she was out that episode and also that Sara wasn't praised more for her dish in the Latin episode that was so praised by the 'guests". That episode was dumb-founding.
Lia wouldve been a contender. Jean-George doesn't hire scruffs.
Two Hour Top Chef episodes could be handled by us no doubt! They havethe amount of footage. Give it to us.

Hi Andy,
I can't vote for best Bravo reality shows moments, because I usually watch only a rare few. Top Chef has been elevated to my fave due to this season's more mature approach and the wonderful chefs that were procured to join the game. Project Runway had been my favorite program until S-3. It was such an abysmal failure by giving the title to the "worst person", that it is doubtful I will bother with S-4.
But, hey, at least TC came back strong and was a pleasure to view. I could watch the reruns over and over. Thanks again!

Hi Andy,
LOVED the top chef finale and felt that Hung was the best choice. My only criticism is the "live" aspect was not well lit and looked like it was taking place in a dark hotel banquet room. May I suggest that IF the decision is to announce the Top Chef in a live format, that it be done in a studio that is well lit? Even beautiful Padma looked washed out.
