Happy Hanukah

December 4, 2007

To celebrate, I think a visit to the Rockefeller Center Hanukah Bush is in order... So I made a little video in my office yesterday just for you. And I threw in some of my favorite gift ideas (that happened to be laying around my office).

Yo Andy! Where's "Tim's Take" blog and podcast for Project Runway? I like having Nina write, but Tim's viewpoint is much needed. He managed to educate everyone on fashion, on the personalities, and on the difficulties of each challenge with grace and wit. Nina is not behind the scenes, and so we lack perspective on what's going on. We want Tim! [banging tin can on jail walls!]

I'm with Wannabe. Where is Tim's Take? Project Runway ia almost not worth watching without Tim's valuable insight. As much as I love Nina and getting a judge's perspective, there's nothing quite like Tim's behind the scenes info.

I third the outcries for Tim's Take and Podcast. Where on earth did they go? Tim's the best part of PR! Can't say I like the guide to style so much but he rocks my socks on PR.

I'm trying to watch your video but it isn't working...foo. I'm sure it's cool. Happy Hanukah!

Do you have to call someone from maintenance every time you do one of those spots from your office to come & close your window!?!? I crack up every time you go to try & shut it & it never works ... how about some footage of whoever comes to help you close that mutha - it looks tricky!! Love the tree, the gift ideas, & YOU, Andy!

Hi Andy - Thanks for the video blog. It was great! Loved seeing the tree...it seems to twinkle this year and I don't remember it twinkling in years past, is that new as well? I was so surprised that you could open your window....you could lean right out and have an accident...don't let that happen! Wishing you Happy Holidays.

Andy,

As much as I love me some Oprah, you gave her a run for her money this year with your favorite things...what with Project Runway Season 3, the Dolly Parton CD, and everyone''s favorite plush beagle. Thanks for showing us the tree in Rockefeller Plaza; it is absolutely gorgeous. You have a terrific view from your office (side note: is there any part of your job that isn't exciting or fabulous?).

Happy Holidays,

Aaron

HI Andy! Loved the Christmas tree videos and the sub-plot on closing the window(s). Tell me, do you have to pinch yourself sometimes when you look out your office window and realize where you work? Did you ever dream when you were growing up in St Louis that you'd have a front row seat to NYC? I grew up here and I still get a thrill. Wonder what a midwest boy thinks...

Happy Hanukah to you, too!

For my Hanukah gift, I'd like to have Tim's Take back. See over there to the right of your blog where it says, "Need More Tim?" The answer is, YES!! We do!

Oh, and for my gift on the SECOND night of Hanukah, could you please re-run PR season 1? You never do! It's always 2 & 3.

Don't eat too many latkes, now.

Hey there Andy!!!!
Loved, loved, loved, the Kathy Griffin special marathon today...It really gave me something to do while I was home sick today... Love your tales of LA, NYC, Liza, Bruce, and now Baby Ava (tell her not to feel too bad about not knowing who Helio was...Shoot, for the first few times I saw his name I thought he was affiliated with those cheapy cell phones). At any rate, keep the tales coming-- it really breaks up a otherwise boring workday. And stay fabulous!!!

Andy...Loved the tree. I think the reason there are so many blue lights is to help us celebrate Chanukah! Your gift ideas were truly insightful. I thought for sure you would include something for us St Louis Cardinal fans. Did you light your menorah last night? And, did you get any good presents?

Happy Holidays
