I know I am the last one to this party, but I finally saw "Into the Wild" last night and I am ob-sessed with the entire thing. Sean Penn did a genius job with this film and I cried for some reason or another throughout it.
The performances were beyond the beyond, and that final Hal Holbrook scene was enough to put me over the edge. If you haven't seen it, do.
Here's a bad play on words: we're going into the wild at Bravo right now with the production schedule for "Make me a Supermodel". (The show and the film should be very similar...) We started shooting on Friday morning and it premieres this Thursday. What that means is that every night we are screening acts of the show and shaping it so it's ready for Thursday night. In news that's what's called a "crash". We're crashing the show for 12 weeks. Lovely. I thought I left news.

I agree with you about Into The Wild. I though it was the best movie I saw all year and I cried tears throughout as well. Emile Hirsch, Catherine Keener, and Hal Holbrook all broke my heart. Thanks for pointing this out.
One day you need to ask me about Make Me a Supermodel.
