Maddie!

January 9, 2008

Page 1 | Page 2

Tonight on "Project Runway" you will all meet a little lady named Maddie who has stolen my heart. She's a pistol. Watch what happens with Maddie.

Tim Gunn mentioned on "Ellen" yesterday that I told him three years ago that I would find him a boyfriend in a year, but that he's still single. Here's what, I am not taking sole responsibility for this. The guy is the most eligible man in NYC but he is very busy and he is too content being single. Can we all make a pact that we will marry this Prince off in '08?

I want to sit him down like he does on "Guide to Style" and make a contract with him... Tell him the process is going to be really emotional and deep and make sure he's committed. And then, wait a minute... Would it be a horrible idea to do a show finding a husband for Sir Tim???? I am IN! You are (probably) IN! I don't know if we'll be able to lock Tim down for this one but I love the idea.

Who said these rambly blogs weren't good for something. It's called BRAINSTORMING, people!

You could at least try a Tim Gunn dating game, you could be Jim Lange. By the way have always thought you 2 make a cute couple. And as far as the candy challenge goes there was a reason the contestants ran to the pillows and teddy bears, they were made of fabric. They learned from past seasons. And Nina lamenting only one garment was made of candy, duh!

Andy, I think that there is somebody out there for Sir Tim, however, you know how all those fix up shows go...Hey, has the Bachelor EVER married the chick he give his final "rose " to?

Sir Tim is a gem...we just need to find the perfect setting that would match up with and make for some fab couple bling!

BTW, I wanted to thank you again for all your fun and insteresting blogs! I love to read your blog...I feel like I am having a cup of coffee with you each morning and you give me the Andy lowdown! :-) Kelly

Andy - I am totally in on the "Find Tim a Husband" reality show plan! This is going to have to be something much more refined than those Tila Tequila/Bret Michaels farces to get his buy-in though.

Can you imagine sending Tim out on a date with some slob? Brilliant!

What would we name this show? "The Love Gunn", "Tim Gunn's Guide to Dating", "Neurotic in New York"? Any other suggestions?

I LOVE this idea!

Hi Andy - love your quote from "the Comeback" - can't you use your superpowers and bring that show to Bravo?
Back to my love/hate housewives viewing - that waxing scene was crazy! how did that assistant have such horrible hair and a totally buff body? something is fishy about that, my friend. is she a mole?

I don't know about the Tim idea. I think he may be too stately. Which is a good thing as he is arbiter of taste. You should expand on the 'Guide to Style" concept. Include, interior, automotive, jewelry, home exteriors, street corners, unsightliness in general. You'll have no end of situations to choose from. Brand his ability to find the elegance and grace in the woe begotten.

Andy - Tim G would be the best bachelor EVER, but the man has said repeatedly he likes the single life. I mean, let a playa play! (sweet Val Cherish ref tho)

Hi Andy!!

1. Poor Queen Latifah. What a letdown for her personally. I meanhosting something like that for basically no one. We're
probably all on the side of the WGA but hopefully these issues
will be resolved and the award shows can return to their
glamour and "entertainment"(?).

2. Are they taking Hillary's "sob story" and blowing it out of
proportion? As long as Obama or Clinton succeed that's all.

3. JB's sex tape? Sorry, no hetero porn allowed in this house.

I work at a hospital and I hate the gowns our patients have to wear, any chance project runway could make a nice hospital gown practical yet nice thanks Linda Ennis from New Jersey

PLEASE don't do a fix-up show for Tim Gunn. He is too classy and elegant to be on that kind of show. He is a true gentleman and I just love him. I hope he does not agree to something like that.

Also, re Real Housewives -- love the show but the bikini wax thing was pretty low-rent. Also, there are so many wives/kids/husbands/BFs on the show, it's hard to make time for all of them....we don't need to now follow Vicki's assistant too (although she sure did need a makeover). Anyway, I wish the season was longer!
