Tonight's "Make Me a Supermodel" is the best episode yet, and where the series hits its stride. You really get a sense of who the models are, stuff starts going down in the house, relationships are tested, and it's incredibly SEXY. You really start to feel the real-time nature of the show, too. There's something for everyone, lemme put it that way. If you haven't seen the show yet, this is the one to watch.
Last night I was at a superfancy superstarry dinner for Allie Wentworth, who created and stars in the hilarious new Starz series "Head Case". I was seated at a table of boldfaced names that one might call a motley crew. I wasn't invited to blog the dinner so I ain't spillin it but lemme just say that I had a blast with Madame Barbara Walters.
I was transfixed on BW's superlong eyelashes and she said they were there because she'd been on "The View" that morning. I didn't care why they were there I was just glad to see them. It's the little things, peoples. She wondered aloud whether Liza and I were together, and then why Bruce and I weren't. It was a lotta talkin 'bout a lotta things and it got gooood. She is super-feelin' the latest incarnation of "The View".

Hi Andy,
When I look to entertainment news (and then some), I look no further than your blog. You really tell me all I need to know. But -- and this is important -- I can't remember how Jessie died. I only remember Jenny's jetski accident.
Can't wait for tomorrow's entry!

Oh Andy:
Loved AMC, but now. . not so much. One exception. Erica Kane is amazing. LOVE me some Susan Lucci.
Remember the Trevor and Natalie/Janet "trapped in the well" story line. That got me through an entire summer. And did you know that in real life Natalie's dad is an astronaut! That, my friend, is some trivia for you.
Have a good one ;-)

Oh, Andy. Don't be so cranky. A resurrected Jessie beats the hell out of insipid Ryan or the other dum dums on the show. Angie is back and they had her crying - her triple axel - in like the first 20 minutes. It felt like home.
And they're launching some scary contagious disease, anthraxy storyline. Sure to be some agonizing deaths - ooooo, maybe Cameron Mathison.

For Kari: Jessie died in a police-related gunfight. They've been replaying it for the past couple of weeks in the ads trumpeting Angie and Jessie's return. The bigger problem with his return (if there can be a bigger problem than being dead) is that he appeared on the show TWICE as an angel. Now he's not dead? The only good thing about him being not dead is it means one day they will dig up Dixie's grave and it will be empty: 2gether 4ever!

I'm game for comments on Millionaire and Runway.
I probably enjoyed last night's Runway show more than any other I've watched. I liked nearly every outfit and thought it was wearable, which as a "non-style" person, I don't always see.
Millionaire was a hoot. Nice to hear someone on TV that isn't always "politically correct." I never thought Patti Stanger was crass or rude, but she sure calls a .... a ...., whatever it is. You know exactly what she thinks. Might be kind of hard to work with though.
I certainly understand why a 30-40's woman once told me they couldn't find any "good guys" out there.
I would think male entrepenuers are especially hard to match with women because it takes a certain single-mindedness to accomplish what they have.
I wonder if any of her clients are women looking for men? Might be an interesting twist on the issues.

Love Miss BW too but I have to tell you The View is currently unwatchable. The slimly educated, boringly didactic Joy Behar is unbearable. I refuse to take stupid pills so I am unable to last even 5 minutes - less if she shrieks in early. She loves to mention she was once a teacher in the NYC school system. What she fails to mentions is that it was at a time when the city’s teachers were rated the lowest in the nation and the whole system was a disgrace. Many teachers were forced to leave and I often imagine she was one of them. Do not get me started on Elizabeth. Equally knee-jerk. Whew! Sorry for the vent!

Hi Andy!
Geez, you're becoming a regular Perez Hilton!! No wonder
I have an RSS feed from your blog!
The View. Let's face it, we all respect Barbara Walters for
what she's accomplished as a female broadcast journalist,
but I'm sorry, I quit watching The View after Rosie left.
Oprah touched Dorothy's ruby slippers! I wish I'd seen that.
She IS Oprah. Bow to her now.

Hi Andy,
Just wanted to let you know that the "Millionaire Matchmaker" looks like a fun show I'd like to continue watching, but the "Real Housewives of NY" is bad! The OC Housewives are so much more interesting, classier, freindlier and just much more fun to watch! The NY Housewives clash with our California culture, the way they act, talk, everything is off about them. Especially that bleached blond who fell in the pool fighting -- what a classless trash, who took her on national TV? Please, more of the pretty OC Housewives and no more NY uglies! Thank you!

Does Angie still have her adorable dimples??
Does anyone else think Quinn from OC Housewives resembles a young Marie Osmond?? Such a lovely face!
So glad the arrogant Victorya is gone from PR!!
Andy, you know whenever you see Donald Trump you are fixated by an orange-cotton-candy-comb-over? I get the same way anytime I see Bawbwa Walters - I CAN'T get past the speech impediment. Sorry.

Loved Shelley Hack in the old Charlie perfume ads when I was a teen, but then hated her because she became one of Charlie's Angels and took someone's place and it just wasn't the same any more. Love the model's diaries on Make Me a Supermodel. Helps me decide who needs to go when I vote.
