What's On Andy's Desk?

January 26, 2008

We grabbed Andy Cohen to film his video blog on Friday, and then had some trouble pulling it all together fast enough to get it onto the web fast enough. So, here now, Saturday morning, is Andy's Friday video blog. Seriously, that desk is a maelstrom of all things Bravo. Check it out below. --Bravotv.com

Andy your video blog was fabulous. Sort of a Mr. Rogers meets gay iconic man about town fusion. Loved it--Especially digging around on your desk---Court summons on bottom of pile---no big deal---back in pile.

Andy...

Millionaire Match - cool concept for a show - have you considered having some fabulous millionaire WOMEN on the show, and have Patti find matches for them? Would be a great twist - and would probably help draw in more female viewers.

I mention because I turned on the show today, thinking honestly how much I'd love someone to offer that kind of service to me. I am a beautiful, blonde, successful 38 year old self made millionaire in Minneapolis - and have had a heck of a time finding a great man who can handle my success, and let me be a woman too...

I've done some TV - primarily financial, been on both SquawkBox and Mad Money. Let me know if any interest in the idea - I'm smart, savvy, and have "it". Best to you and good luck with the show...

Dear Andy,

I'm a 32 year old "Real Housewife" and mother of two. I
live in NJ and I have a solid career in a large
private equity firm in Midtown. My girlfriends and I
(ages range from 26-43) have watched the Bravo series
from day 1. We love the show. However, we are
surprised with the NY casting and its lack of
diversity.

Real Housewives are not just middle-aged spoiled
Caucasian women. We thought it would've been great for
the show to reflect this. It was sad to see the only
ethnic people featured on the show were the nannies/
housekeepers.

Keep up the good work, Andy. You make me smile.

We want your blog comments! We will read and approve them as soon as we can, but sometimes they can take a little while to show up online. Here are some guidelines:

  1. Keep it clean. You're a Bravo fan, you know better words than most TV audiences.
  2. Avoid using ALL CAPS! (It’s like screaming...)
  3. We don't post e-mail addresses or phone numbers.
  4. Have a good time. We love that you love the blogs.
