Obama's speech yesterday was something to see. When was the last time a candidate stood for something and stood by someone controversial? When was the last time a candidate has spoken with such depth?
When was the last time our President spoke with ANY depth whatsoever? Has he ever? Seriously, is there a speech that he has made that is memorable? Put our President up against Obama, Hillary, McCain, Ron Paul, Jessica Simpson, Donald Trump, the residents of the "Big Brother" house and all the "Real Housewives" and see where he falls on the depth scale. I dare ya!
The punditry last night re: Obama was fascinating in every unintentional way, starting with Faye Wattleton on CNN discussing the speech. Remember her? She's the beautiful former head of Planned Parenthood. Well she has a new wig or hair system or something that is basically a high ponytail. Or would it technically be called a "switch"? Well it was very jarring but I liked it.

Andy, I would love to hear more thoughts about the media coverage of Obama's speech. To me it seemed like they were befuddled. I haven't decided what I think of Obama yet but was leaning towards a style vs. substance platform until this speech. It's been a really (40+ years)long time since a politician spoke as and adult to adults. Kind of impressive.

The brilliance of Obama's March 18 speech was such that it may go down in the history books AND be studied by writing professionals for years to come.
He showed us what a real President looks like. We had forgotten after 7+ years of Gomer Pyle in the White House.

Hi Andy!!!
Speaking of Miss Dolly, I think we're all still waiting for your critic's review of "Backwoods Barbie". Don't tell us you don't have it yet?!?!?
I notice "Project Runway S5" is recruiting.
I could apply. I'm thinking of something in
aluminum foil...with accents of BBQ sauce.

Andy,
Tell me you are going to have a Season 2 of Make Me A Supermodel. I love the show and think Niki Taylor and Tyson Beckford are the two best hosts ever on a show.
Looking forward to the reunion and Finale.
