A Lot Of Info About Not Much:

April 16, 2008

Page 1 | Page 2 | Page 3

Ok I got lots of bibs and bobs and nibs and nobs and whatnots and whozits and shut the hell up and say something.

In NO particular order:

** Hopefully you saw Bravo's announcement that we've picked up "Flipping Out" and "Guide to Style" and "Million Dollar Listing" and "Millionaire Matchmaker" and "Shear Genius" and "Top Design" and a lot more. We have been busy at the Bravo and we're really excited about these and a whole lot of brand new shows, like "The Real Housewives of New Jersey". Uh huh. You heard me, Carmello.

** The Pontiff is coming to NYC and cocking up traffic like you wouldn't believe. Is it worth it?

** There was an interesting piece in Sunday's New York Post comparing Katie Couric and Hillary Clinton, saying that women are put to a higher standard and have to endure way harsher criticism than their male counterparts. I agree about Katie and disagree about Hillary. It was thoughtful nonetheless.

Oh man Real Housewives of New Jersey!?! I can only hope and pray to my Jesus that there will one day be a Real Housewives of Boston....I'm sure half of it would have to be filmed at Fenway Park.

Andy-

I guess I am one of the nine! Go me!!! (or how sad is that....hehehe). Gotta tell you I love the shows on Bravo and am sooo happy that they are coming back! Thank God for TIVO! It has truly changed my life, but that is another story.

I am so glad that you mentioned BB after dark. I thought I was the only sad sad person who watched it....or should I say fast forwards through it. I can't take these people! The only one who's voice doesn't annoy me to all ends is Ryan and he is no great shakes himself! And yet, I have to tune in to find our what has happened...I think I am ill!

Anyway......hope you have a great day and I can't wait to read your next post!

Yes, the pope is definitely worth it.

Hillary is SOOOO put to a higher standard as a woman. There is such an obvious sexist slant to this campaign it is pathetic and annoying. I am constantly wanting to yell at my tv when I watch cnn.

OK! NJ? for real? That should be interesting. The NY women drive me crazy, and not in a good way. I find them so rude that I have a hard time watching them. And they can't be that big of a deal. I mean none of them have an amazing Park Avenue apt, they all look like run of the mill post war UES apartments. Whatever. They are clearly more important in their own minds.

Initially I wasn't a fan of Housewives - NYC. but got hooked on it quickly! Took the quiz and came out a match for JILL! My favorie. My favorie moment was Britney's (sp?) comment during the girls night out dinner when Ramona took on Simon. She said that Ramona wouldn't leave Simon alone until she saw him dead! Absolutely GREAT line!

Hi Andy!!

OMG!!! "Flipping Out" and "Kathy Griffin-My Life on the D-List"!!! Is there any reason at all to watch any other network???

Have mercy!!!

Come on Andy...why not a Real Housewives of Palm Beach? Or anywhere in Florida? Florida is fun too! OH, PLLEEAASSEE tell RAMONA to buy a new PHONE CORD for her office phone. With all that money, you would think she could spare a few bucks for a new cord. That phone cord is TRAGIC! Thanks! Love ya Andy! You're ADORABLE!!!!

Hi Andy! I love your blogs and was so excited when I read about all but one of the shows Bravo picked up. Why on earth are you giving Jo & Slade their own show???? Good lord those untalented media whores don't need more time in the spotlight.

What part of NJ are the Housewives from? From the mansions at the shore or horse country or somewhere more north? I have a feeling it will be north since you made the comment about Carmello.

While Greg Plitt is fun eye candy, Work Out has spiraled into another Blow Out. It's a bleached Jonathan Antin with T&A. The whines, egos, and rants have become so annoying. On a more positive note, I would love to see the Housewives make guest appearances on the other Housewives shows. Kind of like the Bunkers on Maude or Jamie Summers on 6 Million Dollar Man. We need more cross contamination in our entertainment!

What no Make Me A Supermodel!
In a previous blog you mentioned that New York Model Management was showing interest in the final 4 models. You promised a follow up on that. Where is it!!!!!!!

Dear Andy,
I was a bit surprised to find that Jackie does not have a blog for her show. I love watching the show but the experience is somewhat diminished without her blog. It's what I looked forward to after the show. I mean if you are going to do a show like this one should go all the way not just half way. I am sure she has her reasons but her comments were always so great to read. So please beg her if you have to but asked her to reconsider. It's just not the same.
