Wedding Wars

May 7, 2008

Tonight is one big, bad, badass episode of "Top Chef" - so much so that we had to Supersize it! The Quickfire is the classic mis en place relay race, followed by one of the toughest challenges in "Top Chef" history as the chefs stay up for 36 hours straight to cater a wedding.

** The NY Post says "SHE'S TOAST" but I just don't see Hillary ever leaving this race. But I want an Obama-Clinton ticket and I want it now! And I want her to wear that powder blue pantsuit she wore last night every day. It pops!

** My DVR is set to "record all episodes of "American Masters". Tonight is Marvin Gaye and I will look forward to a late night screening. It features my girls Gladys AND Mary Wilson. Um, give me a Gladys Knight "American Masters" next, Mr. PBS!

Andy, what did you think about Work Out last night? Have you checked the boards? A significant number of people signed up just so they could post on that episode. It personally made me sick to my stomach. Not sure if I can watch that show again especially since I don't think Jackie is the person she wants people to think she is.

Andy I want to say thank-you for your contestants this season.
A talented & classy group (for the most part)

Please no more Marcel personalities, although Spike does make some Marcel-like moves.

Would it be possible for the contestants to express themselves intelligently without swearing every other word? just a thought

My picks:1) Richard 2)Dale 3) Stephanie 4)Antonia/Andrew; my choices are based on flavor profiling & overall kitchen skills

At some point I would like to see a definition of what makes a champion TC
Is it all kitchen or does ones attitude play a role?

Anyway, I love watching this concept grow & mature thanks again

This Wedding War was the best! I live in Atlanta, and I'm hoping I can find where Richard works so I can taste it myself. I'd also be curious where JP & Corie's restaurant is so that I can try it out, also.
