It is a BEAUTIFUL day in New York City!
And it is a beautiful and hilarious episode of Kathy Griffin tonight. We really should be promoting it as "A Very Special Bear Episode" as Team Kathy goes deep into the 'bear' community! We've gotten a lot of enthusiastic emails from bears over the years celebrating Tom Colicchio as an unofficial Bear Mascot, but if you've ever wanted to know more about da bears, tonight is your night! As I watched this episode a while back it made me realize why I love Kathy's show; it is 100% original. You don't see a lot of other shows doing what Kathy does.
Last night was a party at Tenjune to celebrate the launch of "Date My Ex". Jo and Slade were there along with scores of hot hetero singles, all drinking Jo-tinis. (I don't know if the drinks were called Jo-tinis, I think I made that up.)
Nicole from "Shear Genius" was there and told me that she'd done Jo's hair for the evening. She was looking for Rene, but I believe that beauteous Danish Pastry is out of the country. Did any of you see "Shear" last night by the way? I had a sweet spot for Matthew from the moment we cast him. He's not only talented but he has a very sweet stuttery stammer that is endearing. He was talking so much about his wife last night and how amazing it would be to return to her, that everyone in the "Shear" salon was saying that his wife must be va-va-va-voom. I met her at our Times Square event and, guess what, she is.
My friend Mike is in St. Louis and must've read my blog yesterday about how cookoo the NY POST was because he sent me an article from the St. Louis POST-DISPATCH about a diabetic lady in that area who has no feeling in her feet. Seems the gal took a nap and awoke to find that her dog had bitten off her big toe whilst she slept. Adorable!

Andy, I've never posted to your blog before but heres a first. I might be the biggest reality junkie around!! I think you do a fantastic job at casting, hosting, producing ect for bravo. But you really got the Jo and Slade messed up. Its not going to be funny, interesting or worth watching. They are both dull and boring. I think you missed the mark on this one.

"Date my Ex", a little desperate for ideas?
A little desperate for players? I am sorry but the only more irritating person than Jo, is Slade...couldn't you guys boost the quality here a little bit. On second thought,
Slade is perfect for, "How to pimp my Ex."

I was at the event, and I was blown away (no hair pun intended) at 1)how hot matt's wife was and 2) that matt was straight. He was a very nice guy at the times square event.
Other than that, I am glad I am not the only one who has problems finding a freaking trash can around 30 rock.....

Hi Andy!!
"It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for a neighbor, would you be mine? Could you be mine?" Sorry, it just seemed like you were channeling Mr. Rogers there for a minute. Queen Sarah Saturday...Lady Elaine Fairchild...it's all coming back to us now. Ah, the Land of Make-Believe! I go there so many times!! Oh Mary don't ask!!
My, my, my aren't we stuck on "persons who render services for a fee"?? It made me think though. Should I have been charging all this time?? Offering coupons? 2 for 1 specials? A "rewards" program? My god, if I had charged for every "service" that was "rendered" I would have so much...ummm...it's not really important now, let's move on. NEXT!!
A 15 percent tip?? My, my, my aren't WE Miss Generosity!! What Andy won't do for the NYC cabbies! (Don't ask what I really mean by this.)
I've been watching "The Odd Couple" tv series.
I was thinking how funny it could be if they did a gay version of it!! I could play Felix Unger-all neat, tidy, proper, cultured-and Andy could play Oscar Madison all...well...
y'know..."Andy". I think we all know what I'm really saying here, don't we?? Good.
((((Andy))))

Hey Andy, we bears love Kathy right back so tonights show is going to be great. I guess she hasn't realized that all she really needs to be an A-Lister is a gay hair dresser and a gay hair stylist to consatntly follow her around (can we say Tyra and Janice?) hell I volunteer to be her personal gay photographer so she can do them one better and tell them to su... er uh well you know what she tells people to do. :)
Yeah we bears do think Tom C is a real cutie, but we think you're a hottie too. So keep on bloggin and look forward to your next "special".
