Hotels go Modular Modern.

Have you ever used one of those racks that hang in your closet and let you put lots of neckties in a small space? How about one of those hanging shower organizers? They are unlikely sources of inspiration
but two new French hotels expand on those concepts with spectacular results. Both Hotel Kube and Hotel Sezz in Paris have ultra modern rooms that are also very practical.

Gone is the traditional set-up where bath, bedroom and closet are all separate. Instead, you get an ultra large room with the main features in the center. At Hotel Kube there is a giant structure in the middle of each room. The bed, bathroom and closet all hang off the unit. I love it because it's chic and it makes it easier to remember where you put everything.

Don't miss Kube Hotel's ultra cool Frozen bar. It's like jumping into the middle of an ice cube. Everything is made of ice from the glowing see through bar itself to the cube shape tumblers you sip from. At sub zero temperatures, it's the ultimate Parisian space to chill. You even get your own hotel parka and earmuffs to heat things back up.

That is pretty cool. Are there any Hotels with this concept in the U.S.? We could definitely use a frozen bar, or anything, down here in the deep South!

Very cool stuff. It's amazing what a little brainpower can do to spur the hospitality industry to create incredible concepts.
