When people meet my friend Tug James, right away they notice his muscles. They're huge. He has massive biceps, bulging pecs and a tiny waist. Think "Incredible Hulk" without all the green.
I always smile when I see people feeling intimidated by him. They judge him by his looks, thinking he's bound to be gruff and mean. But the opposite is true. Tug is the biggest softie you'll ever meet. He's outgoing, generous and cries at movies. His favorite show is "The Golden Girls" and he does a great Cher, with everything from the voice to the hair flip down pat.
He's also a great artist. The man can paint anything -- from landscapes to figures to funny cartoons. If it sounds like I'm in awe ... I am.

This was such a fun blog to read and when I noticed the Cary Grant glossy on Tug's wall during the video, it made it that much more enjoyable. What a great room! It has inspired me to get my authentic Cary Grant tie framed porperly and get it out there for people to see! Thanks for sharing Bryan :) GB

TOMORROW"S YOUR BIRTHDAY! (DA NANA DA NA NA) IT'S NOT MY BIRTHDAY TOO! ( DA NANA DA NA NA) hope it's fabulous! I feel like Tug sometimes, since people judge me by my tattoos all the time. He seems like a real sweetie and it makes me happy to know that people like him are your friends. BTW have I told you that I absolutely ADORE the way your name is spelled.. all the BRyans in my family spell it that way too. Heredity thing.. sorry to go off on a mini tangent. MUCH LOVE TO YOU, you sexy thing! Make sure to have extra fun for me tomorrow!

Wow! I am lovin' his style and I completely agree. His space is a representation of the person he is and the things that he loves. If it makes your heart smile, then it's good. It makes his house a home. Too many people these days just go for a showroom kind of house, cold, neutral and impersonal. No sense of who lives there. YaY for Tug for being himself and not being afraid to show it.
