Hey Erika!
I think your great! You really care about helping your client's. I'm trying to lose about 30lbs, could you give me some tips on what kind of exercises work best and what to eat and when? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work, I love the show!!

You go girl! I have only recently begun watching Workout. I first worked out with a trainer three or four years ago; I, along with everyone around me, was amazed at the results. Never had I been so narrow in my mid-section and I just couldn't believe that weights totally re-shaped my body like that! Now, I'm 32 years old and haven't gone to the gym consistently in over a year. My clothes and the scale are starting to show the signs of it (as I'm sure other things are too, like my cholesterol level, which I am afraid to get checked). All that to say that coming on this website and finding out that you and Zen are in my age group and look as amazing as you do has really inspired me. I was (and still am a bit) truly worried that my body would not respond in the same way it did years ago, and that I would never have the same results again. I know I'll probably have to work harder, but I also now that it is possible. Thank you!

Erika it makes perfect sense you don't see the similarities between yourself and Jolie. Your view in the mirror is not a reflection of you but instead your perception of yourself. You were the first person to catch my eye waiting for someone to comment about the similarities.
Your client crying was good drama for the show and may have been aired for that reason, but it shows why trainers are worth needed to break through barriers. You were able to make her look at where she was breaking down and losing her mojo. She stepped up to your challenge and that is where you deserve respect for doing a great job!

Ericka,
I think I know what you mean. But, please....believe that you are worth following around! (smile)
I admire you; you don't try to get 'camera time'....if you know what I mean? These days, reality TV has regular people losing their minds! My goodness, everybody appears to be taking the easy way out (employment-wise). Don't you think? Anyway, I think you are fabulous on this show and I bet Jackie is proud to have you.
God Bless and take care YOU!
P.S.- I'm so aorry about Doug. I know he meant a lot to you all.

They say that "Beauty is only skin deep" but watching this past episode with YOUR photo shoot AND your interaction with Meaghan (the tough but fair conversation and the trying-on of dresses) proves how YOU are far beyond that particular axiom.
The modesty you displayed during your Angelina shoot and the happiness that Meaghan exuded because of how she looked AND felt about HERSELF in those dresses (esp. that 1st dress...WOW!), you have shown me (and I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking this) that you are truly an exceptional, if not phenomenal, beauty through-and-through, inside and outside.
Kudos to you Erika! : )
(BTW, you are a major reason I watch the show!)

Erika,
You look soooooo much like Angelina Jolie that it's scary. I wouldn't worry about not really looking like her, because you do, but I would worry about being compared to her. She is not a good role model, and I think you totally are. She might be trying to do some good by what she does globally, but she is an ugly person as to the things she has done in her life. I can't wait until someone comes and steals her precious Pitt. Can somebody say KARMA???
Anyway, you are beautiful, strong, smart, and an example to so many.
Keep up the good work.
Oh, and I think Angelina looks like you, not the other way around!

ANYWAYSSS,
the words you spoke to your client really motivated me. the whole 'how can you take care of others if you can't take care of yourself' thing whipped my butt into gear.
you're such an inspiration.

I wish I could have you as a trainer. You're a great motivator and professional. Its nice to see that someone who has such great influence on others, be forthright. I thing the other trainers can take a page from you.

Erica,
What I can see, I think you're a great trainer. If I lived in California, I would be having you as my trainer. I do believe you look like Angelina, alot more than the person who did Brad Pitt. Keep up the good work with Meaghan. . .

The show does a great job motivating people to get out there and be FIT and healthy! Keep up the good work! Hope you're havin' a fun Spring!

Thanks for the motivational speech to Meaghan. It was kind, compassionate, really very sweet, but also TRUE! Everyone has challenges, but when your health is at stake, you find a workaround so everything can be addressed. Rock on, Angelina, uh, Erika!

I loved what you said to your client last week. Weight loss is a commitment. I too don't have very far to go. After two major moves, two career changes, and the first few years of marriage, I have let other things (food, stress, details) get in the way of my health. You inspired this 32 year old butt to get off the couch and start exercising again!
Thanks!

Hello Erika,
You really do look like Angelina Jolie. I would love to know what company were you taking the pictures for? I am told all the time I look like a certain celeb. Could you please forward me the information so I can send in a headshot to the company.
If anyone knows the name please post it.
Thank You, Teri

Erika, I'm going to be 35 in July, live in LA, and I'm grappling with some of the same things you are. I thought I would be married with kids by now like most of my friends. I've always done what I wanted to do and as I approach this big birthday - I find myself sad at times that things haven't worked out like I imagined they would. Thanks for being brave enough to talk about it because it helps women like me who feel like they are all alone. You are beautiful, intelligent, and sweet. I wish you all the best.
