It’s hard to say who started it, though my money is on Reese Witherspoon at the Oscars.
Ever since she strutted her suddenly slim body and sheared bangs down the red carpet last February, everyone from Paris Hilton to Halle Berry is sporting bangs.
Certain celebrities pioneered the safe, side-swept bang last summer – most notably Nicole Ritchie. But this year, some are going for a more dramatic, full bang. They’re short, straight, blunt, and downright daring considering the commitment.

Bangs, bob, Britney-bald...they can all be pulled off for as long as they're in style, and changed at your next salon appointment.
