Make it a Mychael Knight

July 13, 2007

ff_knight_320x240.jpg

Season three designer Mychael Knight is showing off his new fashions alongside some American classics… and we mean “classic”.

Knight’s clothes will be shown at “Fashion Knight at the Museum”: a special event at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum on Saturday, July 28th. The museum’s newest exhibit, “Mary Todd Lincoln: First Lady of Controversy” will feature the First Lady’s trendsetting fashions from the 19th century, as well as current high fashion styles. Mychael Knight’s creations will add up-to-the-minute looks to the exhibit, which will compare American fashion’s past and present.

If you want to see some antique American fashion alongside the newest from the always cutting-edge Mychael Knight, there’s no better place to be.

This sounds like a great event. I think he's going to do great things for the fashion industry. But I am curious about the spelling of his name as well. When/why did it become "Mychael"?

LOL...good question. I love 'Mychael' myself i suppose that happens as your popularity increases.

I wanted him to win this cycle. His black label line is one that I'm sure I would buy.

If the opening night of the exhibit is not invitation only, I'm going to try to make it.
