Yesterday, as part of Fashion Week in New York City, Malan Breton unveiled his new Spring 08 collection for women. His beautiful dresses were on display for a standing-room only crowd that included, among other celebs, Peter Wentz of 'Fall Out Boy' and actress/model Kiera Chaplin.
The collection, which features bold cuts and a beautiful, metallic color palette, dazzled the audience, and is among his most ambitious works yet.

The first one (mini w/ ruffles) seems like a copy of the Marchesa dress as seen on various celebs last year, and the black one...the length confuses me. It needs top be longer or much shorter. That being said, the gold dress is beautiful!!!

I am soooo happy to see you have your own line. Like others here, I was also heartbroken when you left PR3 way too soon. I teared up when you told about your mother ripping your sketches from your tiny hands and wished fervently that you would prove her wrong. It seems you have made my wish for you come true, so Bravo(pun intended) to you Malan!
