Stop and take a deep breath. My head is sort of spinning right now. I try to jump on the information superhighway to fill this blog with quips and witty banter, but frankly I'm not sure how to address this week's episode.
On one hand, am hurt deep to see the last bit of strength in my friend start to weaken and am floored at having to relive the day I had to prepare the thought of saying goodbye.
I'm in that place again...Stop and take a deep breath. I could be upset, again...but that ain't your boy.

Greg this week's show was off the hook. Oh and your blog saying just stop and take a deep breath sounds like me. I am sorry to hear about Doug I really liked him. WHy is it that you were the only male not to be to affended by Jackie and Rebecca? Jesse was very upset which makes me think he likes Jackie in another way. Hey like I said on Jackie's blog she has it going on and her body is sick. Dre seemed to angry because maybe he feels Jackie is some type of competition to him. Oh well. So are you and Zen (the innocent) going to hook up? I think you two would make a great couple. You should try. Well keep on doing what your doing and you look great by the way. Later Babyface. You look young incase you don't know what I mean.

Although the entire episode kinda made me sick (and I happen to be gay, so it's not out of homophobia)...it was your reaction that made me sickest of all...I know that editing goes into a lot of this, so I'm hoping that's part of your shallow, disgusting attempt to act on TV and on this blog as if you're some kind of smarter version of the player...whatever. Anyway, the way you look to me, to my entire living room of people...half straight women and half gay...is just plain all bark and no real bite. You can talk all you want, but you're NOT the owner of the gym, you DIDN'T have two, three, four, women on your arm, you're just a TRAINER. Deal with it...
...and as a black woman, let me say to you that your utter stupidity toward and lack of compassion for Jackie, who deserves your support as a member of an oppressed community is completely nauseating to me. I am so tired of the lack of understanding straight people of color have for the transfer of bigotry. It is EXACTLY what the oppressive, ignorant, classist, racist and homophobic dominant groups hope for when they look down their noses at us...that we will NOT unite...that we'll divide and gossip and criticize and compete with eachother...and frankly, even though what Jackie did is inconsiderate, for the most part she's a much more dignified person than you are...
You probably don't care, since you're too little a man to admit your jealousy and yes, the fact that you're threatened by a woman getting hot women, but just in case, I suggest that you tone down this comdescending BS that you're spouting on this blog and talk about positive things instead of criticizing your boss...look out, you might LEARN something.

I like you, "you" as portrayed on edited TV, that is. From what I've seen on the show anyway, you seem like a good guy. After reading your blog, I have to say, I enjoyed your perspective, and your writing. You don't get enough air time, it seems like you do a good job of keeping it real (as real as it can be for "reality" tv anyway) and not getting mixed up in drama that doesn't involve you. You just seem to sit back and chill. Good for you. Chill is good.

Ok first off, you my friend are one incredibly sexy and interesting person..just wanted to get that out of the way ..haha. I to found it interesting how Jackie pullled off that double date thing..dissing one right after making out with her for one who shows up later. If that where a guy those two girls would have scratched each others eyes out, then screamed at the man in the middle and became best friends dont ya think? Woman are weird, makes me freak out that im one of them because I truly dont understand them and strive not to be like that! Anyway, your a pleasure to watch and so far I really like the kind of person you are! Stay true..God Bless.....

But more than anything I really like how much you care for your clients the way that you talk to Tess and the way that you work with her is really so carring and so sweet. Keep the good work and remember they're a lot of ladies out there that will love to have someone like you that care and LOOK GOOD.
By the way tell Tess that to see how she is trying make me think about to get up my butt and do something about myself. (WAY TO GO TESS,GO GIRL)

Hey Gregg,
You really must have pissed that Fergie off sometime in your life because I don't know what the hell she's talking about. I think she may be talking about Andre since he was the one talking all that smack. Anyway, I adore you for celebrating the lives of those that have past. In my tradition, we have anniversaries for the deaths loved ones as well. My uncle passed last month from a variety of things, kidney failure being one of them. Seeing that episode really struck a chord with me and brought back a very painful time. I coped with remembering the good things about him and thinking he's now in a place where he won't feel pain anymore. I was at the hospital hours before he passed but I couldn't get the nerve to hold his hand... and it's a regret that I live with. Keep rockin' my friend.

Gregg, thanks for the blog and am glad you're part of the show. I'm so with you on how to deal with life and death--make it a celebration. It's okay to be sad as well. And who would have know the party would be such a poignant benchmark for Doug and all of you who are in his life. I wish you all peace.

I've never really been a huge fan of Workout but I saw a few episodes from last season becuase my roommate loves the show. But I became hooked this year because you're on it. I have a huge crush on you. My friends make fun of me all the time but I just think you are such a sexy, down to earth guy and your singing voice drives me wild. I don't know what Zen was thinking when you guys broke up. Are you dating anyone new? Just keep doing your thing because you are a great guy. And don't worry about what other people think.

I was truly moved at the beginning of the season when the memorial to Doug flashed across the screen before the first episode. My heart goes out to you and the rest of the trainers as you have to re-live such a sad and touching moment in your lives. Your words on death and life for those left afterwards were sweet and touching (it is almost the 1 year anniversary of my grandfather's passing).
On a lighter note, I checked out your myspace page and loved your music. I can't wait until your cd comes out and I can download you to my iPod. My page is still under construction, but when its up do you mind if I post your link (I think more people should check out your music - they'd love it)?

Gregg,
I hope you read this. Jackie is SO wrong to be weighing these women. I owned a gym (I'm a woman) VERY successfully for almost 10 years. I had a staff of about 20 trainers and personally trained myself. I trained high level athletes to olympians. I want you to know that to weigh these women will be loosing them as clients ONLY becuase they aren't necessarily gaining FAT, but loosing fat and gaining muscle, in which case they would be upping the scales as well. I never had a scale in my gym and, again, I was EXTREMELY successful in what I did. This is the ONE WORST mistake that is being made here. You said it well, too. I really got that YOU GOT it! Loosing fat will NOT necessarily cause a change in the scale numbers - BUT, WILL make a change in how someone's clothes fit. That was what I always told my clients - if your clothes are getting bigger then you're loosing SIZE!!! Ok here you go - "Would you rather be the SAME weight you are right now but 5 sizes smaller, OR would your rather loose 20 pounds and be the same SIZE you are right now?" Think on that and THAT is the POINT. HEY you are GREAT - I wish I still had my gym - YOU would be my main man LOL!!! Good luck and TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS!!!!!
