Me and a fashion show guest!
By the beginning of next week I will have clocked in 40 hours of air travel. Granted, it's over a period of three weeks -- but anyone willing to travel that many hours better have an excuse to do so, and I do.
First stop: Columbus, Ohio. I've come to realize that with Season 3 of Project Runway, the territory of OHIO, belongs to Ms. Angela Kesslar, but it was the Charity Habitat for Humanity that let me have full reign of the area for the weekend. I put on a Fashion Show to benefit the aforementioned charity.

Kara,
Great update on your travels, which I've kept up with on BPR. It sounds like you did a wonderful job in Ohio and I'm so sorry I missed the event.
I hope the things I hear about your coming out with a tunic length wrap will come true, I'd love to add it to my wrap dress as part of my collection of Kara Janx.

Kara,
Thanks so much for keeping us all up to date on your adventures. I have to send a HUGE thank you to you -- about a month agao, I ordered you FABULOUS wrap dress in brown and print trim. Iwas wanting the dress for a special occassion (pre-rehearsal dinner part-ee) and was stressing out wheh the dress didn't arrive in my office the day of.
Not only did you personally take both my desperate calls that day -- you were kind and patient with me both instances. Talented, classy, and a professional business woman? You will have an UNBELIEVEABLE future ahead of you!
Mazel to your sis!

Kara, I'm not sure if I like any of your designs. I watched season 2 and you were really weaker than many of the other designers that were eliminated. If it were not for the team efforts, you would have been gone much earlier. Also, Santino totally designed the outfit you made for him. You were really wrong and sour for not playing up the outfit he made for you. As a person, I really do not fine your personality exciting or interesting. I cannot see me buying your cloths based on name recognition only. Also, I am not sure why you have this blog. Is there anyone out there who really cares what you are doing?

Kara,
Thank you for the update. Like a previous poster, I too have been following your travels on BPR. I really enjoyed your work on the show, and I thought your OFW collection was fierce. I'll be ordering from your site when I next have disposable income - which may be awhile, but it will happen.
And on a personal note: as the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, I would like to thank you for your fundraising efforts on behalf of the American Cancer Society. You truly are doing well by doing good, and it is appreciated.

Kara,
I don't think you can design. The reason why you can stay to the last 3 shows is you are lucky. Everytime there is someone who is the worst needed to be kick out.
