You should all know that my mother still isn’t talking to me because I gave out cash to strangers. She’s furious that I didn’t give it to the Catholic Church so they could “give it to children.” I call this weird handout thing I do periodically the SECRETO SANTA -- because I’m pretty sure Santa is Mexican.

It's the last episode of the season! Promise there'll be a next season, please? I always look forward to watching your shows every week, and now... I have to move on. I finished the last Harry Potter, saw the Pirates... now what? I can,t keep myself occupied forever! Hopefully we can hear more from you, even if we have to wait for a new season. You should have some kind of winter edition of “My Life on the D-List”. That would rock, and make the Christmas spirit flow even better!
Anyways, that was SO nice of you to give money to the women who needed it! You're so cool! Red-headed Oprah... That reporter didn't even know who you are! Kathy Lee! I can't believe she said that! Shame on her!
I bet you really loved your dad so so much! He's really blessed to have a daughter like you. Hopefully he's happy resting Ireland. I wish I could visit that place sometime in my life!
Best of luck, and best wishes to you and Team Griffin!

As soon as you started giving the toast to him, the tears began and then didn't stop until the show was over. How I wish, after hearing Jessica's story, to have had the pleasure of your father calling me "Dolly" as well.

I love your show and am sad that the season is over. I'll just have to watch when it replays. I sure hope there is another season though. The tribute to your dad was so touching and I know he is looking down on you will so much pride and love! Please do a show in Minneapolis. It's not too far from your hoemtown of Chicago! I would love to see you in person again. I saw you at the taping of Gameshow Marathon a couple of years ago. You were a riot. You actually sat right next to my husband during the audience intro. taping for The Price is Right. I had to move out of my seat for you-I was honored! Take care! All the best to you and Team Griffin

Kathy - I'm so bummed that the season is over! What a great ending though - you got to do two things I've always dreamed of doing. First, being part Irish I always wanted to go to Ireland, and you got to do it with such style! Bless your dad's heart, I know he's thrilled with that very touching tribute.
Then, you got to hand out hundred dollar bills! I've always dreamed of being able to do that, though in reality I'm more the sort of person who needs the gift, ha ha! That was amazing and it makes me so proud that you do that. I'm a firm believer in the idea of "noblesse oblige" and that people who have more than most should share what they can in meaningful ways. I'm sure more than one of the people you helped was worrying about where they would find the money just to survive, and it was like manna from heaven. Good for you!
That's what I like about your humor, too. You aren't making fun of poor people or fat people the way some do - you're making fun of the rich and famous who have everything in the world and piss it away on nonsense like drugs and reckless driving.

That was quite an interesting and funny episode, Kathy. Giving tons of money on the street to total strangers. I think it's a great social experiment that showed people are always suspicious these days no matter what. I bet you some day when money starts falling from the sky, people will just stare in awe and say, "Why?" Me, I'd take my shirt off and use it as a sack and stuff it all the $$$ I can grab while I sing out loud "It's Raining Moolah, Hallelujah!" or "Joyful, Joyful, We Afford Thee."
By the way (I already wrote this on my blog but I'll mention it anyway)... I think we've entered a new era of Intoxi-Chic: young celebs in alcohol-related deeds? Why aren't we shocked about the latest on Lohan? Simple: Intoxi-Chic-ness is in! It's trendy like Kabbalah was but without the Madonna. We might as well feature it on Project Runway, it's so hot.

Kathy - I am so sad that that was the last episode!! I hope you do another season!!!! I have to say - you have no idea how much you helped me this year. This is the worst time of my life. I've never been depressed before and I am going threw a bit of depression. Anyways - it was one of your 1st episodes this season and I was sitting on my couch watching your show feeling down and all of a sudden I burst out laughing at what you were saying and doing. You have no idea how much that moment helped me. You like popped my pathetic bubble that I was trapped in. It felt so good to be back. ( I am a person who is always laughing, smiling and I absolutely love life. I love every day even the bad ones so to me being back to the Jennifer that I am was GREAT) When you made me laugh it just made it a much better place for me. I thank you so much. You brought me back every Tuesday.... I think you are so funny and talented at what you do. Your Mom and Dad are so precious. I am so sorry about your Dad's passing but as you know he is having a blast in heaven and heaven is a much happier place up there now because he is there. He is so proud of you, you could just tell. Also I want to comment on how great of a person you look like to work for. I watch all these other celebrity reality shows and there assistants look so stressed and miserable all the time. I think it's great how you treat yours like a part of the family. They also treat you very well as well.
I hope to be seeing you alot before your next season of on the D list. (Which your actually and A but whatever.)
High 5 hear from Minnesota to LAX!!!! Way to go, keep doing what your doing because your doing a great job!!
Who know if you even read these........I hope you do so you know how great you are.

Kathy, the last episode was so touching. I made my Mom watch it for the first time -- she's 84, Irish Catholic, one of 11, parents came from Ireland. We both cried. Her only complaint: You talk too fast and she can't keep up -- hah, probably a good thing, huh?
You revealed so much of your true self this season -- you actually let us into your life and I really appreciate it. I'm glad you didn't just gloss over or ignore the "elephants in the room" (the divorce and your Dad's death) for the sake of some laughs.
I wish this season was longer, and Bravo BETTER pick you up for another. Good luck with the Emmy! (How anyone could pick that sappy tear-jerker Makeover show is beyond me.)
P.S. My favorite, most hilarious moment from this season: Th C*** Flicker!!! I know exactly what'cha mean....ughhhh! My friend and I almost p**d ourselves with that one.
Love ya and come back to A.C. soon!

It is my daily spirit lifter. Who said too much television is not good for you... every season of your show has been so entertaining and way too short. I just find it hard to believe that there are still people out there who don't get your sense of humor. The episode when you went to that jewlery convention thing was painful to watch and hear. What was wrong with those stuffy old jewlers? I think it was just well played out editing like I feel most of the episodes of bombing are. Your last episode of the season was great. Was that reporter for real? She was completly clueless. And what a wonderful way to wrap it up with the spreading of your father's ashes. It was so heartbreaking to hear of his passing. He really was a truly good human being which really shined through in his appearances on the show. It is hard to find that in people now days. I hope your Mother is doing well because your parents were really two too a pod. Thankgoodness she has such a caring and thoughtful daughter. Anyway, I really look forward to the next season because I can't live without it...just joking but it does make my day. And could you please gain some weight Kathy? I thought I was the only one scarred by that National Geographic show on female circumcision years ago, but was comforted when you spoke of your trauma too. Also, I'm Catholic, my parents are Italian. The bit where your mom and dad couldn't go on the lesbian cruise was classic. I watched that bit over and over because it sounded like my mom you were talking about - but it was yours! Also, Tom is funny in a quiet way. I have always thought you were cool and funny, dating back to your _Suddenly Susan_ days. It is only this summer that I would have to admit that I've become a bit obsessed with you. To tell you the truth, I'd have to attribute it to how you shared your emotions surrounding your father's death with audiences. I can tell from reading other comments to this episode and previous episodes that what you went through causes people to contemplate their own experiences with death and grief. So I just echo everyone else when I say that your experience of your father's death reminded me of my own. My dad died of congestive heart failure in March of this year at age 89, just a few weeks after your dad, so it helped to see that there is a certain amount of commonality in people's experiences no matter who they are.
You are so funny and entertaining. I'll be watching your show forever!
