Darlings, it has been a very busy last few weeks, ones that I will never forget.

I’ve received pictures from one of my dear models, Karen Choi, who was at Cannes for the premiere of her boyfriend’s new film. Here she is in one of my gowns.

Rupaul is the sexiest drag around. I can use some makeup how-to's from him!...loll

and happy "early" birthday....i wish can bake you a cake and send it to you, but that could be a problem with shipping..lol...so hopefully my words are enough to make your birthday a memorable one.

I'm glad you had a wonderful time hanging with Rupaul!! I remember you telling me you were going to that. I, too, agree with your statement about a parent having unconditional love. Having a son, I plan to love him no matter what his sexual orientation turns out to be. We're all people and our preferences do not define who we are. I have friends from all walks of life, race, and sexual orientation and I love them all equally!!

Malan, I can't believe your a summer baby as well! Happy early birthday, and I wish you all the best! I wish I lived in New York to attend the Broadway Cares show. It seems like a great organization. Hope you have a great time, and can't wait to read future blogs! xoxo

"Love as a parent should be unconditional. When I have a child, one day, no matter what or who they become, I will love them for all they are." Amen, Malan! Loving someone that way enables them to reach for anything and everything the world can offer! Those of us who didn't have that privilege take much longer to find that kind of confidence, I think. You'll be such a wonderful father, continuing also to be a great mentor and example for others. Also...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! You don't look a day over 18, darling!!!

Malan,

As a mom to two smart, funny, beautiful little girls, I have to say that you broke my heart when you talked on "PR" about having not having the support of your family. I cannot imagine not being there for my girls, and I am sorry that you did not receive that unconditional love. You are an amazing person, who is talented, witty, handsome, and bright, and you deserve nothing but the best that life has to offer. Thanks for sharing yourself with the world!

Malan.. again, your gown is breathtaking. You're a genuine designer in the old tradition, but with truly innovative style. Your familly may not always be there for you, dear man, but you have countless fans who believe in your enormous talent. Just remember to remain confident through any nay-sayers... your work is magnificent and imaginative. I look forward to meeting you in New York one day very soon! Big hugs from Palm Springs!

Hi!
I so enjoyed you on project runway. Although you didn't make it for the long haul, I believe you have the talent and the vision to make it in the fashion world. My heart was touched by your story. I wish I could give you a hug of encouragement. I just want to tell you to keep the faith--believe in you and keep reaching for your dreams. I will probably never get to meet you, but you have left a mark in my heart. I pray for you (as I am a believer) that your needs will be met and that you are blessed with good things. I hope I haven't seen the last of you!
God bless and keep you,
Madelyn

People who get us Geminis should consider themselves fortunate that thay got such a bargain...a two for one, so to speak! Sometimes Jr. Jeckyl...sometimes Mr. Hyde...sometimes two Saint Malans, depending on the day. Or is that just ME?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
