Well, I think after watching a season of Flipping Out, we could all use a recap of the "reality" of this reality show. Jeff and I were talking last night about the response the show has received, both positive and negative, and while we knew the show would be successful, we never dreamed it would generate the frenzied hype that it has.

Jeff is a talented, ambitious, if not a bit eccentric, investor with his eye on the prize. We can try to attribute his personality and accomplishments to any number of disorders or his upbringing, but the truth is he's just naturally gifted and incredibly determined - those two qualities are a recipe for success and, as we all now know, for great television. He channels his energy into his work and stays focused, constantly altering his business model to reflect the ever-changing real estate market. Jeff is not out to take advantage of anyone or to talk anyone into buying one of his houses so that he can make a profit. He is able to see possibilities in a home that others can't, is willing to take the financial risk, and commits himself to working hard to create a polished product. For that, he is rewarded with a sound return and is lucky to say that he loves what he does.

Finally Carrie is getting the credit she deserves. I don't know how she is to work with but I know I couldn't get anything done when I am looking at that beautiful face all day. I don't see a wedding band on her finger either. Does anyone know if she is married? If not, I would like to make an all cash offer with no inspection contingency. Do we get to see more Carrie in upcoming episodes?

We want your blog comments! We will read and approve them as soon as we can, but sometimes they can take a little while to show up online. Here are some guidelines:

  1. Keep it clean. You're a Bravo fan, you know better words than most TV audiences.
  2. Avoid using ALL CAPS! (It’s like screaming...)
  3. We don't post e-mail addresses or phone numbers.
  4. Have a good time. We love that you love the blogs.
