Finale!

October 19, 2006

The big night is here and I arrive with mixed emotions. It was such a great season -- filled with drama and scandals, wonderful designers and of course, fierce hair! So everyone wants to know, "Who do you want to win?" And my honest answer is all of them. I believe they each had a very distinct point of view and each of them would dress a different women.

Now on to the excitement of the night … last night I had the pleasure of co-hosting the TRESemme Project Runway Finale party with Tim Gunn. As they say, a picture (or video) is worth a thousand words so check them out and let them speak for themselves, at TRESemme.com.

And before I sign off for the year, I want to thank all of you for your continued support. All the best!

So very happy that Jeffrey went over budget and had to ditch those awful blond wigs because I think that he might have lost if he had used those wigs.

FYI. I (like most) will never purchase Tres Semme again! That goes with ALL sponsors of the FARCE.

We are INSULTED with the outcome. Sebelia was fresh to those who haven't done that and already been there.

The whole thing was a HUGE let down and INSULTING.

What do you think about the late change to Jeffery's hair plan? Tim Gunn has said that he was happy to see them go. They might have cost Jeffery his win!

This was the BEST SEASON of Project Runway (by far). And the way I see it, the final decission was a no brainer -- Jeffrey was the obvous winner! I agreed with the judges 100%

I am glad that Jefferey went sans wigs for the finale. No one else was doing it, and his designs didn't need it.

Excellent hair all around, I thought. The girls looked fantastic, and there was no one look that stood out as being inappropriate for the venue.

I am not a fan of Jefferey. He has been a real prick at times, and I just don't like his personality. I DO like his designs. I thought he should have won the "trash" challenge but was not impressed with his "jet setter" outfit.

I thought Uli should have won, but really there were four designers with four great colletions. It is a matter of taste, and it could have easily been any one of them. The best thing I can say about season 4 was that there was no one I HATED in the finale, which made it more fun to watch.

Kudos!

Best hairstyle of the show? Was it Merlinda in Jeffrey's Cotour gown? The long casual curls were a perfect compliment.

Best Runway showing ever. Most striking went to Laura for her full length lace over pant and the feather jacket. Outstanding. Best collection and saleability goes to Ouli. Beautiful job on the blue and tans. Some of the long dresses were weighted down with trims that ruined the hang and flow. And Jeffrey deserved the win for his creative line. Loved his stripe zipper skirt. Poor Michael. Really thought he would win it early on but he just missed the boat unless he plans to sell to girls working the strip clubs. Cheap, loud, garrish. Michael saved the worst for last. Sure did enjoy the show. Cant wait for the next one.
