Uncle Nick’s Recipe for Venezuelan Tequenos
As a young boy growing up in Caracas, Venezuela, I had a very nice childhood. My father was a Foreign Service Officer working for the U.S. State Department there. I still have fond memories of that time of my life, and specially have a special place in my heart—and my stomach—for Venezuelan cuisine, a hybrid of European, Caribbean, and Spanish cooking.
One of my favorite foods is an hors d'oeuvres, or as we say, a pasapalo, called Tequeno. They are fried cheese sticks wrapped in flaky flour. My mom served it at parties, and particularly for the Holidays.

Hi Nick! I'm just dropping in to say how adorable you are. Season 2 was the best! I just ordered it. Can't wait to see it again! I used to watch it on rerun all the time and never got sick of it. It is ridiculous how much I loved you and Dan. I so wanted both of you to go to the finals! Anyway, looking forward to watching the whole thing again. And I will cry with you again when you lose your model. Then I will LMAO when Dan goes, "It's a ----- walk off!" Haha! That was classic.
Season 3 was so amazingly disappointing! As emotionally involved I was in Season 2, 3 was just the opposite. The only person I could have liked as much as I did you guys was Allison. It was awful to see her go. Thank God for Tim (what a doll!), or else it would have been unbearable to keep watching. I hope Season 4 is better, but I really don't think Season 2 will ever be topped. I also loved Season 1.
Anyway, I hope you are doing well. You are a sweetheart and you deserve all the best. Take care!

Hi Nick:
It so wonderful to see that you are still connected to Project Runway. Thanks so much for being such a ray of sunshine on Season 2 and of course, you were my favorite. You are such a classy person and really good designer that I know you will succeed in life and make your family proud, which I'm sure they already are. Take care and have a great holiday season.
Feliz Navidad!!

Hi Nick
I am a Project Runway junkie!!!season 1, 2 and 3 I wanted Karason to win Season 1 but i loved Jay and Austin* I wanted you to win season 2 and i loved Chloel and your partner (for some reason I can't bring his name to mind) "Iwant your soul"
he made it to the final three... And i was torn season three between Micheal Knight and the winner Jeffrey. It would be sooo nice for Season 4 ending to have you (Nick) and Austin to be in Bryan Park showing you too lines I would love to see the both of your clothes going down the runway i feel like we the viewers missed out on that...peace and much love to you and yours
