I'd like to call some attention to a nice little movie called Old Joy .

The film is the story of two old friends, Kurt (Will Oldham) and Mark (Daniel London), who reunite for a weekend camping trip in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon.

If I could describe the film in a word it would be minimal. The critical response was anything but. The film made several indie sources' Top 10 lists and was an Official Selection at Sundance as well as other film festivals.

I wanted to see it (and eventually bought it) because I had heard it was a good film and I'm a fan of Will Oldham of Palace music fame.
