Summer means...frozen cocktails, sunburns, and summer birthdays! (OK -- I know it means a lot more.) My point is, that it can be difficult to figure out how to let those Cancers and Leos know you care. The digital birthday card is nothing new, but I've noticed that the sites offering free services--without crazy pop-ups and subsequent spam E-mails--are few and far between. But, I recently stumbled across Hipster Cards and I have to say...so far, so good.

You may be sick of hipsters (I actually came across the site while in the midst of reading Time Out New York's May/June cover story "The Hipster Must Die." Weird.), but unlike the site's namesakes these cards seem pretty clean and non-judgmental about your musical inclinations, so I'd give them a try. --Monica R.

Greetings!
thanks so much for the blog love for Hipstercards. I founded the site in 2004 and it's been a huge hit. I sold it in Dec but I'm still a big fan and just love to hear when other people (and blogs) discover it.

Best,
Lynda

We want your blog comments! We will read and approve them as soon as we can, but sometimes they can take a little while to show up online. Here are some guidelines:

  1. Keep it clean. You're a Bravo fan, you know better words than most TV audiences.
  2. Avoid using ALL CAPS! (It’s like screaming...)
  3. We don't post e-mail addresses or phone numbers.
  4. Have a good time. We love that you love the blogs.
