I have been listening to Band of Horses' Cease to Begin non-stop. Album highlights are "No One's Gonna Love You" and "The General Specific." You can check out the whole album on MySpace here. There's something sort of Perry Farrell-esque about lead singer Ben Bridwell's vocals, and a country vibe to a few of the songs, especially "The General Specific." And as someone who's pretty anti-country music, I have to say I don't mind one bit.

Also, if you're looking for another band with distinct vocals, give a listen to the Silversun Pickups. Their album Carnavas is pretty great, and even MTV has finally started promoting them. Better late than never.
