I would have to say that last year was one of the most exciting times of my life. If someone would have told me a year ago that I'd be on a TV show I would have told them they were crazy. I never in a million years would have believed them! The friends that I have made during this process has made every stupid thing I said on TV worth it. Now that I'm 40, where do I start ... How about my party? Simon had full control of planning my birthday party and would not give me any details. I was a bit nervous. It was my 40th and I wanted it to be special ... and boy was it! Welcome aboard the Paradiso (a 85-foot charter yacht in Newport Beach). When I found out where my birthday was going to be held I was so excited. Who wouldn't want a party on a yacht? Simon did such an amazing job planning the party, from the food, flowers, guest list, and my favorite Sprinkles cupcakes. With all my friends and family there to help me celebrate I couldn't ask for a better celebration. Thank you, Simon!

Tammy invited me to a Botox party, and since I can't pass up a party, I accepted. Although I wasn't in the market for Botox just yet, it still sounded like fun ... and it was. After a few glasses of wine the doctor suggested I get Botox to get rid of my lines on the side of my nose. I always thought they were cute -- my mom has them and so do my daughters. I think he called it the bunny rabbit nose? So I said what the heck -- I will try anything once. Long story short it hurt like hell and it didn't do a thing. I don't think they are actually wrinkles, more like expression lines? So, don't try it girls!

My decision to have breast implants in my early 20s was probably NOT one of my better decisions in life. The prior doctor talked me into implants that were way to large for my frame -- the implants were wider then my rib cage. Which made it very hard to find clothes and bathing suits to fit right. After three pregnancies, nursing, and the weight of the implant, the internal pocket was too stretched out to support the implants. Imagine wearing a heavy backpack all day long that was too loose. I constantly used my shoulders and back to compensate, which lead to neck and back pain.
Simon knew all the pain I was going through and supported me 100% in my decision. So, After having my last child, Sophia, I knew it was time to have the surgery. I consulted several plastic surgeons, and to my surprise they all...]]>
The ladies and I had an amazing time in San Diego. The US Grant is a beautiful hotel, and the staff made us all feel like royalty. We thought it would be nice for all the girls to get together and take Jeana's mind off things. Jeana is a very strong woman, and there's no doubt she will be fine. However, separating from your spouse of 20 something years is not easy for anyone, no matter what the circumstances are. We were all there for Jeana, and she knows we love and support her in whatever decision she makes.
Spending the weekend with the girls in San Diego was definitely a time for me to get to know them better. All the Housewives have been so nice to me. There has never been a time that they didn't make me feel like one of the family. Vicki and I get along very well,...]]>
And it was a total surprise running into Ryan in the parking lot at work. I wasn't expecting to see him since it was his first week working and I didn't want to bother him. It was time for Ryan to go back to work, he had been off work for 60 days and his money was starting to run out. I'm sure he drained his bank account!

You would think kids, husband and house is enough work for one woman? Not for me, I am not happy unless I am going 100 mph! Succeeding in real estate is not easy , especially in Orange County.
It is a very competitive market with new agents popping up every week. However, it is a career that I can manage out of my house and work at my own pace. Like most things in life, you get out of it what you put into it. I love having my own career and being able to be a stay at home mom...... they are both a huge accomplishment for me . I have gotten a lot of emails about saying " I buy myself something amazing when I close a deal." I will always reward myself, it keeps me motivated and it doesn't mean I don't SAVE the rest.

This is a fun episode, because you all get to meet Spencer. He's a smart, loving , funny boy!
He is a lot like Simon, he is very quiet and you can see his mind ticking away all the time. He is the first one to tell me every day "Mom, you look beautiful" or he wants to give his toys and money away to someone that really needs it. He is a very kind hearted kid. However, he is very stubborn and can stick to his guns to the end if he doesn't want to do something.
He loves video games, he would spend all day playing them. He also loves baseball and is looking forward to this season. Spencer has a great head on his shoulders at 7 -- so I'm sure he will go far in life.
