I have been to Europe twice before. One time was a drunken, you know, with my girlfriend when I was about twenty-one years old. It was basically just a drunken romp through the streets of London. I barely remember anything.
For my second time, I went with my parents and a church group. I basically went because it meant a free ticket to Italy. Because I was with a church group we saw all of the famous churches and historical landmarks in Florence, which was great.
Let's just say that with Kathy it was a completely different experience. We may not have seen many churches, but you know, we attempted to find the gayest bar ever. Replace Dante's tomb with boys' night. Yes, it was definitely different.

Hey Team Griffin,
I really enjoyed last night’s episode…it brought back many fond memories. I lived in the UK (I’m a military kid) for a few years and have been back many times since. In fact, I’ll be back in London in Sept. 07.
I’m curious…I saw the episode when Kathy went to HSN and was wondering if Kathy is looking for a new team member to help build the Griffin empire ? I’m sure you get requests from random folks all the time, but I’ve done all I can where I currently work. I think Bill and Melinda are doing well enough to continue on without me. I love Seattle, but would also love to work with a team to create something that would rival….no surpass, the conglomerate that is Suzanne Sommers.
I saw Kathy in Seattle when she performed at the Moore theater and am looking forward to her return visit in the fall (Nov. at the Paramount Theater). Feel free to give me a jingle…we’ll do coffee, Kathy’s treat.
Keep up the great work.
Frank

I am the founder/Pres of Dream Foundation and last year Kathy made a dream come true for Jeffery in NYC, and met him again in Palm Springs. He died months later and his family had a huge photo of his Kathy dream at his service. What a gift she gave.
Anyway, I watched last night's show and it wrecked me to think that Kathy made that dream come true during a year that was so brutal to her own life....now that's true Hollywood beauty. (No paparrzi was every called to catch this unconditional act of grace and compassion)
Futhermore, since I'm in the biz of making dreams come true, I asked my father who turns 80 in Oct. what dream he's not realized. He said he'd like to see Ireland, I've been over-thinking how to swing it and find the time, and Kathy closed the deal last night, I'm not thinking about it anymore and booking it! We will be sure to have at least pint for the Griffin's! We are Irish crist's sakes!
Kathy, I'm sorry for your physical loss, but as you KNOW, love never dies....and my god you continue to give your family and friends so much to take pride in, as I am proud of your brief affiliation with the Dream Foundation.
Thank you and BRAVO indeed!

I hope you're mom is handling everything as well as can be expected. I am currently 7months preg. and love watching your shows(past&present) for pick-me-ups when i am feeling blah and want to remember what it is like to have a drink now &then! It is also a unique experience trying to edit the cussing while my 4yr old runs thru the kitchen while I am making dinner!! All part of the laugh, trying to get to the remote with raw meatloaf on my hands!! Haha, sounds like on of your good dates!! Take care! Keep me laughing!!
