It was only a matter of time before the bad girls of 2006 entered makeover mode. Paris Hilton announced that she stopped having sex. Lindsay Lohan’s people insist she’s “trying to stay sober". And now Britney’s PR machine is going full-tilt boogie into OPERATION SAVE BRITNEY’S IMAGE.
What proof do we have that the former “Super Skank” is going through a major image rehab? Here are just two pieces of evidence from yesterday’s US magazine online:
1. “Britney adopts a puppy” -- Britney, hair up in a matronly bun, conservatively dressed, nicely accessorized with a child (Sean Preston) and the $3,200 puppy. Her cuddly-wuddly pet adoption is a direct answer to those animal rights people who complained Britney had “disappeared” her other two dogs when she married K-Fed. Voila. She’s a good pet owner. And a good mom.
2. “Britney Plays Robin Hood to Homeless Man” – Britney is seen by “a source” withdrawing money from an ATM and then giving 300 dollars to a homeless man who approaches her car. Didn’t Paris Hilton also use this PR stunt a few months ago, giving a homeless man money in a gas station? Again, a conveniently placed “source” reported that generous gift to the media.
So in just one day Britney’s people have told us the “new improved” Britney is
1. A good mother.
2. An animal lover.
3. Generous to the poor.
4. A conservative dresser.
5. Awake before noon.
So what’s next in this attempt to restore Britney’s maiden head? We bet that any day now new peekaboo photos will be circulating the internet; this time exposing Britney’s crotch securely locked up with a chastity belt.
So much for Hollywood subtlety.

I hope the best for Britney. She is still just a young girl who has made very unethical mistates. KFed for the first part was no winner: what woman could trust a man after he leaves his pregnant girl friend and another young child. Yep, he sure was a catch! It was obvious that he was in it for the benefits and nothing else. Britney was caught up in that time of her life that she wanted to be loved by a man. 'the problem is that she settled for someone not in her league. She may be ab;e to redeem herself but sooner or later she will be haunted with her recent indecent behavior. She needs tp focus on motherhood.
