Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! My favorite show is back. I loved the first epsiode last night All the girls look hot especially Jeana. Jo and Slate are just as entertaining as ever.Love Em! Alot people say that this show is about fake rich wives butI can totally relate to this show as I am a true South Corona housewife living just 30 miles from Coto not as glamorious but Just as good. I watched the entire last season as I was resting from a Cosmetic makeover. So i was anxiously waiting to see if another season would come and they did deliver! Keep up the fabolous work girls!
P.S>
I am entering the Houswives Contest too.

You folks who created this show need to take a closer look at real housewives of Orange County. These "lucky" ladies who live in Coto de Caza are a real minority. I have subbed at the high school where their children go to school. For the most part, the kids are pretty decent, even if their moms are not. As a person who lives in a neighboring community, I can tell you that living in South Orange County or "The O.C." as people have now termed this area has it's downfalls. For one thing, most people think that if you live in S. O.C. you have money to burn - wish that were true; it's not. Most of us are 2 income families struggling to stay in our pretty homes or townhomes because the mortgage rates are stratospheric. The other more negative side of this reputation we have somehow built for ourselves is that if you tell someone you are from Laguna Niguel, Aliso Niguel, Rancho Santa Margarita, Foothill Ranch, and yes Coto de Caza, they have now a new reason for hating you before they get to know you. I don't even like to say I'm from South: O.C. anymore. Is this one okay to print Web manager?

I was so disappointed in how Josh's mother is addressing his problems. This is a turning point in his life. He will either make it or fail miserably. His demons happen to be the decisions you and your former husband made for him. His needs come before yours. Spend time with him. Spend more time with him than with anyone else. I know you have needs but yours can wait. His will mean life or death. You are beautiful and intelligent and surely you recongnize that his problems are not his creation alone and as a teenager he needs help from you and your former husband to get through them. I pray that you and your family will ban together and seek professional help.

I love this show and I never thought I would watch something like this. I love Jeana and Vicky. I miss kim too. They are like friends I had in my 20's and 30's. I am so annoyed with Slade. I have to say he appears so limited. He has these expectations, if he really loves Jo, then let her be, and quit trying to put her in a box.

I don't know what show Mikita has been watching, but I think Lauri is doing the best she can with Josh. I have a member in my family that gets bailed out every time she gets into trouble and I think that adds to the problem because they think you will do it every time! Lauri deciding not to get a lawyer for him was the best thing to do. Well, that is what I think anyway. As long as she stays connected with her son that is what matters. He is getting old enough to know the difference between right and wrong! The blame cannot always go back to the parents when someone screws up!

I agree with Mikita about Lauri & Josh. I like Lauri and I'm not trying to criticize her parenting, but I went through something similar with my own mother. She left it up to me to make something better of my life, but at Josh's age, he's too young to realize what the world is REALLY like and to know how to survive in it. He needs guidence and major support. My mother was too busy fixing her own life that my issues went unoticed and ignored. Now, I am 20 years old, married with 2 children and I am happy but I still, and will always, have resentment towards my mother and I think our relationship will never be as strong and good as it could've been. Lauri will greatly regret this one day if Josh ends up feeling abandoned and betrayed. What's worse, Josh will struggle with trust and security issues.

I love the show and am so happy to see the 2nd season begin. I miss Kimberly! I am disturbed by the Slade and Jo relationship though. Last season Slade said he has found the perfect girl for him and the perfect mommy for his boys. He must be crazy. I'm not picking on Jo, she has the right to live the life she wants to. Jo is nothing that Slade wants other than she is young and good looking and just like his clothes and watches, etc. she will make other guys jealous of what he has. It is always about impressing others but unfortunately he is seriously hurting the boys I'm sure he loves dearly. Jo has even said, "I do not want to stay home and I do not want to be a mommy to anyone now". And the more she flexes her desires to party the more Slade starts looking more pathetic trying to hang on to her. Jo should also look at the fact that she is using Slade because he has money. She doesn't want what he wants. As for Jeana, I was saddened to hear her say that Colten was at this point in her life her golden child because he is a more talented athlete. You may not have meant to say it that way but that had to have hurt your other kids. I also was disturbed in the reunion show to hear her say that it bothered her that so many people were touched by Josh's story when her kids achieve so much more. Well, I believe a lot of peoples hearts go out to Josh because they feel his pain and his struggles. His problems may be more than just a kid intentionally doing bad things. He may need help. As you want more acknowledgement for what your kids have accomplished keep in mind that your oldest boy couldn't even play baseball senior year because he didn't make the grades but yet in the area we live in if your kids grades are that bad they would not be rewarded with a rediculously expensive car. You should watch the Oprah show where she explores the damage this generation is doing by overindulging their kids. Kudos to Vicki for sending her son to Illinois to teach him some work ethics!

i'm sooo excited the new season has started. the ladies looked beautiful (as always) and the premiere was a great launch. the reason i love this show so much is that eventhough they live these extravagant lifestyles, they still realize that working is the only reason they have it all. i love that they emphasize to the kids about working hard in school for a better future. it's a great show and i agree with cheetah's comment, i want to be them instead of a celeb.

lola wrote:

I think that Jo is in an interesting position. To be a trophy wife or not to be…that is the question. I know that people have given her advice about the lifestyle but….the one thing that I have always heard about being a trophy wife or kept woman is…........................................................................
........everything comes with a price.

So I feel that she needs to do what is best for her and stop being so scared. If Slade really loves her he’ll support her choices.

But I should stop…I don’t know these people….I’m basing everything on what has been shown, just like everyone else. Good luck Jo.

I couldn't wait until season 2. Every women has an interesting situation and every one of them brings something to the table. I see a little bit of myself in these women. They are all inspirational. I have a 12 y/o son and I can only imagine the phases he will go through, so I give my best to Laurie, it is very difficult to be a single mother and juggle family, career and social lives. Jo is a beautiful women and I'm sure whatever decision she makes it will be the right one for her. Vicki and Jeana are inspirational to all career women, there's nothing sexier than a woman that takes charge! Good Luck Girls, hope there's a season 3!!!!!!!

This shows is absolute trash - and I love it! These women are from another planet! OMG... could they be any more frivolous, greedy and utterly ridiculous?! BRAVO has really stepped up to the plate in delivering high-quality realiTV to those of us living "outside the gates" (of hell!). I applaud the producers for bringing us the best of the worst in overindulgent Americana.

This comment is for Jeana. I thought you were pretty snobbing to your self claimed best friend Tammy.

Pauline wrote:

I agree with Elaine this women lost her home while watching her kids im sure thats depressing enough but then she sits there and asks her would she pay 15,000 for what i thought was an average looking necklace. Way to make a friend feel good Jeana.

Marcos Diaz wrote:

Love Jo, and the show.Good luck to all.

Thank you maryjane. I too love the show. It demonstrates everything that's wrong with this additive society. The ladies of oc are into serious drama, materialism; you name the ism somebody is into it. As for Slade as a single dad I have zero respect for you. Why don't you grow up or at least admit that you're so addicted to sex that you'll pay anything for it including a healthy relationship with your kids. You can't make this stuff up.

I LOVE THE SHOW! I have recommend it to everyone I know. Jeana (and her kids ) and Vicki are my favorite. I truly will miss Kim. She appeared to be more resevered and less concerned with how much money they had. Poor Lauri if only she could marry a rich man to keep her in this lifestlye! And how many husbands has she had allready???? And what's up with Tammy, it appears that she has no money and the only reason she is on the show is because of Jeana. Is she a real housewive of orange county?

I love this show, it's absolutely fabulous! However I need to address one thing. As much as I think Shane is cute, I think he comes off very disrespectful. I picked up on this last season, but this new season has made me even more aware of how disrespectful and jealous he seems to be. Of course, I don't know him personally, but come on! Shane is 20 years old and he's picking on his younger brother and it doesn't seem like no one defends Colten the way they should. I think Shane needs to grow up and act his age and stop being so jealous and negative towards his younger brother.
